"Was in town for a family event and took a stroll one evening through the park. There's a very nice memorial set up for Veterans and a cool tank at the front with a bell tower. Nice place to stroll or play soccer/football/games. Would recommend checking it out."

"My favorite place to spend some time outside or play Pokémon GO! I always feel safe here because it’s right next to the police station! I get plenty of use out of the newly paved pathway and the trails in the woods. There are tons of places to sit from benches to a gazebo. Everyone is very respectful here. Not usually any loud noise or litter bugs. Bathrooms are kept pretty clean. Plenty of picnic tables and open grass areas. There’s at least one grill! A basketball court, soccer and baseball fields. And a place for racquetball. There are swings and a closed in child’s play area with jungle gym type toys for them. Lots of little league and soccer games played here during the seasons. Plenty of parking both by the police station and to the left of the park as well. Very dog friendly. I love this park!"

"I came here for a jog around the paved path. Part of the path was cut off by a crowd of people there for a memorial service, but the rest of the path was still available. Beautiful day, beautiful park for a walk, jog, or to take your dog. Dog clean-up stations are available. Ample parking is available, both "up top" at park level and down the stairs near the police station. There are places to play sports, have a picnic or get together, or do yoga in the grass, which I did after my jog and was not bothered. Playgrounds and some workout pull-up bars are also available. Other than two cracks, the entire pathway is well-kept and safe, although it does have various elevations throughout. I saw multiple people walking and a few walking their dogs. All were friendly. Overall, Veterans Park is a fabulous place for casual to serious athletes to get a quick workout in, perfect for dog walkers, and has various other perks as well. Highly recommended."

"Very impressive park that shows a wonderful tribute to military veterans. Has a lot of variety of activities to include: ball fields, ball courts, kids playland, a paved path that loops around the park, etc. It also has a large portion of the park dedicated to the veterans with a clock tower, memorial, flag court, full size tank, etc. Highly recommend visiting this place!"
