With 40 engaging exhibits, visitors can step back in time to witness the evolution of Native American life from the earliest permanent settlements to modern times. Experience the stories of Carolina Bays, Indian Mounds, and Fishing Villages—three primary village types that defined our region. Our collection includes rare artifacts such as an original canoe, projectile points (arrowheads), pottery, and ancient stone tools, offering a tangible connection to the past.
