Bonding and Release Services:

At Towns County Jail, we offer four methods to bond someone out. To initiate a bond, please visit our facility on the north side to access the bonding window. We provide a list of approved bonding companies on our website. Please note that jail staff cannot recommend specific companies due to legal restrictions. Bonding companies may charge up to 15% of the bond amount as their fee.

Payment Options:

- Money Orders: Accepted for county bond fees and bonds. Please note, we do not accept cash, business checks, or personal checks.

- Property Bonds: For Towns County real property, bring your property bill and the latest paid property tax bill. All owners on the property deed must be present with valid state-issued ID, and taxes must be current. The property’s appraised tax value, excluding chattel like mobile homes, must be double the bond amount.

Commissary Services:

Family and friends can deposit money into an inmate's commissary account through two convenient methods:

1. Online via Jail ATM: Create a username and password for first-time users. Once registered, simply log in to add funds.

2. Lobby Kiosk: Located in the jail lobby, the kiosk accepts debit/credit cards and cash.

Inmates can then purchase items through the kiosk in their pod, with spending limits set by the Jail Administrator. Please note, we do not accept packages from family or friends.
