"I know the owners and they love this castle and the history behind it. And they are improving it now to last a lifetime. If you are wanting to visit, it will be worth you learning some history."
"It is $15/ person. However, it is a $40 minimum for a group. We enjoyed learning about the castle. Our tour guide, KJ, was very informative and very friendly."
"This is such a unique "castle"! The history behind the construction is an interesting story. The current owners have done an amazing job with restoration and additions to create a whimsical yet historical accurate depiction of castle life. The castle is open on weekends for tours. The cost is fairly inexpensive, and it is worth every penny. The tour guides do a wonderful job telling stories about the castle. I highly recommend adding this to your list of places to explore in the Knoxville area."
"Decided to go here on a whim after looking for things to do in the area and it turned out to be a gem! The current owner of the castle house gave us a nearly 3 hour tour and was extremely kind and knowledgable! The place is really neat. They are in the process of remodeling it, a lot with their own two hands, and they have some great ideas. I don't think there is a better fit of people for the job! I would definitely recommend checking this place out - a really unique experience!"
"Mr. Fontaine and his wife were excellent hosts and have a very interesting stop off the beaten road. Pop on by on Memorial day for a guided tour. Donations for restoral are appreciated."
