"frankly i don’t even want to give them one star, the customer service was crap! stood in line for about 30 minutes before anyone came inside to help anyone. smoking cigarettes and playing on your phone is apparently more important than helping your customers. i was supposed to drive the truck 200 miles at $0.69 a mile i only drove 164 they had a $195.27 hold on my card. my actual charges were 148.11. the girl in the beginning told me the truck was a little under half a tank to return it back like that. which we did, only the dude said it was almost full when we got it and that i owed $54 dollars in gas, then it went to $25.15 which i didn’t really care for. but they took out the 195.27 instead of the actual amount. we’ve called for the past two days to see if we can get our $22 back and every time we call we either get hung up on or placed on hold. definitely don’t rent from this place it’s not worth losing your money over!"

"No truck was available at my pickup time. Truck that did finally arrive was filthy inside the cab and performed poorly. Good thing I could wrestle a truck with play in the steering and bad alignment. When the truck was not there at my scheduled time, the on site site aid "nothing we can do" "call Uhaul". After contacting U-haul support, then being transferred to a different U-haul support line (in order to see if I could drive miles out of my way for a truck at a different location), I was promised the agreed a $50 credit as my truck WAS NOT there as promised. A truck that the local staff was willing to give me arrived 30 minutes late. Others were there in similar situations with overbooked and missing trucks. The staff was frustrated and unable to help. Very bad experience all around. The late pickup cost me $150/hour with movers standing there unable to work. I would like my $50 penalty credit."

"I made an appointment online to install a hitch. I first had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes just to drop my car off. It was supposed to be installed before the end of the day. About an hour before the store closed they called me to tell me they never found time to install my hitch. When I arrived at the store 30 minutes before closing, there was nobody inside. The man that was supposed to install my hitch was outside playing on his phone smoking a cigarette. I understand they were busy that day but I'm not sure why he couldn't install the hitch at the end of the day while no customers were there. From what I understand it is a very simple quick job... I made another appointment at the Farragut Uhaul to give Uhaul a second chance, and dropped my car off before my appointment. They had the hitch installed before the scheduled time of my appointment and had text me that I could pick up my car. Definitely go to the Farragut location, I gave them 4 stars."

"I encountered two of the most caring people at this U-Haul location. First of all their efficiency in processing my rental was quick and painless unlike what I experienced at the U-Haul location on Rutledge Pike where the manager and his female sidekick have zero customer service skills and are liars. They were so deplorably rude that I ended up cancelling my rental from there and took it to the West Town location. Thank you for everything you did for me. I will recommend and use you in the future."

"Got to this place to pick up a uhaul I reserved over a month ago and they didn't have it. Granted they got lucky and after about 30 minutes of waiting one just happened to pull in. We rented a dolly, they didn't include it, then told us it was are fault for not grabbing it, when they didn't even know if they had one when we were at the counter. When we were waiting for them to find us a uhaul they made ridiculous jokes like all this was funny. When we called about the dolly we never received they were rude. To be fair, I don't know if they could help it as the workers did not seem very intelligent. Additionally, the place was messy the uhaul was not inspected, and was given to us basically on empty. Do yourself a favor, rent from anywhere else! Leaving photos in the review for additional time stamp on the damages bc lord knows they'll try charging us."
