"I have worn hair systems for over 3 years now and used Apollo clinics, and have never experienced anything like today. I just moved here from Tampa Bay and used Apollo there. Hoping I would have as good of an experience here, but I left completely confused and mind blown, to say the least. My “stylist” was very nice, but has no place working for a hair replacement clinic. I’m sure she makes a fine stylist, but they have no idea what’s going on when it comes to hair replacement. I had to nicely advise that I would finish my own hair when I got home, due to the issues that were occurring during my appointment. My hairpiece was placed on backwards at the beginning of the appointment, pulled off, residue from being pulled off was then left on my head, so now that the hairpiece is on, it feels like gravel is underneath the piece and doesn’t lay right, at all. The front is not at all close to unnoticeable, it is not even laying down. The “stylist” got glue in my piece in two separate places. Not just a “little glue”, but a good amount. I kept my cool, as she was super nice, but then she proceeded to clean the glue out by just ripping clumps of hair out of the system. From beginning to end, this office is in dire need of a reorganization. They didn’t know their own prices, I’ve received 3 different prices since talking to them about coming in and at my appointment. I did not end up paying for my service, but only because I declined to pay for something that I am likely going to take off and attempt to do on my own, since I believe even I would’ve done a better job. June, I think her name is, from the front desk is amazingly sweet, if she’s the one answering phones and scheduling the appointments, her niceness is the reason I even continued through with my appointment after a rocky start with them not knowing their own prices/services. I also asked if my stylist would be experienced with many years working for a replacement clinic, and was told yes. Only to find out from my “stylist” that she had literally just moved here, and worked just doing regular hair before. She was as NEW to hair replacement which is why I held my composure because I felt she really was trying. I don’t know who manages this Apollo clinic, but they did not even bother to talk to me or assist, knowing their stylist was a train wreck with my appointment. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re considering hair replacement services, which is a bummer because this area does not have too many options to choose from. I’d venture to say this clinic is under new ownership since there were some previous positive reviews from years ago, but the most recent review (a month ago) is from Sharon, who is the owner of the clinic, and the lady that my “stylist” kept having to talk to throughout my whole process to ensure she was doing it “correctly”. If someone from the clinic would like to talk about my experience, you have my information in your system, but I’d be hard pressed to give it another try unless there is someone in that office that can actually get the job done professionally."
