Reviews
"Some rude rude people tried giving a reason for complaint and basically get hung up on and guess what sent fire department to the wrong place because the impatience of the operator"
"Good job on the siren warning alert after the storm . Seems somebody else needs to be in charge."
"I called in today to report a potential issue, that warranted at least a welfare check, 29 Jan 2023 at approx. 1445 or so. What I got was ordinary rudeness on the other end. First, the dispatcher said she could barely hear me, with my mic unobstructed on new equipment, and a 5 x 5 signal. Then as I was identifying myself, along with the number of the phone from the which i was calling, which is redundant info anyway but is ALWAYS asked for, she cut me off yet again and asked about what emergency I was calling about. Again, I dialed the regular number, NOT 911! I told her this, and decided I was done with the conversation. Retraining is in order, period. I have the address i was calling about, and if anything happens there, i will provide the news outlets with this information. There should be a pause in the rudeness your front-line workers display to citizens doing the right thing. ESPECIALLY in light of recent happenings in Memphis, and indeed, Evansville. I noticed the same EXACT rudeness last weekend when I called in the flip over on the Lloyd, between surface streets Garvin and Baker, during that quick snow we had. DO BETTER, enough said."
