"Where should I start? This location is anything but professional! After 3 incidents I'm rating. 1) the website should state no vehicles available for days requested... Instead you're able to reserve anyway. I booked Thursday July 11.. reserved for July 12-16th 12pm. At 11:50pm I received a phone call stating no cars available at this time.. ok fine I understand. It was stated some should be coming in around 3pm give us a call back ok... 3 rolls around I called same thing no cars... Between 4:15-4:30... No cars yet we may have sum right before close at 5 pm... This time I called him out .. I said it's SUV's there can you just upgrade for the same price... He literally laughed... I get it y'all in the business of making money. But you're also in the business of customer service and satisfaction too .. they would rather keep those SUVs hold out because it cost more to reserve..book ..etc etc... rather than saying ok you made a reservation...your vehicle class isn't available it's close to closing..upgrade for the same price as compact... Nope.. nothing... He had the attitude of oh well .. nothing I'm gonna do about it... 2) the Hobart location closed... And y'all came together as 1 location to have more cars available... THAT'S NOT AT ALL HAPPENING! WHAT'S THE POINT OF DOING THAT IF NOTHING HAS CHANGED?!? 3) knowing no cars was available for me yesterday Friday.. today is Saturday..you would think I would've received a phone call or something or anything saying.. we have a vehicle available... Sorry about yesterday.. or sorry still nothing available today... NOTHING FROM THEM NO FOLLOW UP NOTHING! just the oh well attitude is craaazzzyyy! At the end of the day.. just say we have no vehicles available this weekend etc etc... I could've rented from budget, Hertz etc etc... instead of me believing what I was told... We will have vehicles in your class today... I was lied to! I missed out on something of importance! Such an inconvenience that I was caused! Having 20+ years of customer service experience I don't accept half crap from folks working in the service industry. Needless to say I definitely filed a complaint because 3x is to many!!! I hope portage residents have a better experience than I did... I will NOT return to them to do business! Y'all have a nice rest of the summer and weekend ❤️"
"They told me they would call me back before they closed to see if they had any cars available to rent. I called them at 4:30PM (they close at 5pm) and they did not answer. I called back again and someone answered and immediately put me on hold for about 15 minutes. By this time the location was already 10 minutes before closing. I hung up and tried calling again and no one answered still. Terrible."
"Reserved a vehicle when I got there the vehicle wasn’t ready and not cleaned. When they took it to the back the vehicle ran out of gas. I was left in the lobby alone for 20min before they came to the front and said the vehicle still wasn’t running. Ended up canceling the reservation. Whole experience lasted about an hour."
"This location doesn't go above or beyond. I called yesterday to get a rental and I ensured the rental was equivalent to my vehicle that was damaged. They told me that they have a Nissan Armada and I would need to pay the difference that the insurance doesn't cover which I agreed. I get to the enterprise location to be told that I can't rent the vehicle unless I want to pay full price since the car repair place can't take my car for repair until next day. Well my vehicle is not drivable and instead of enterprise offering to call my insurance company to ensure the rental would be covered and I could rent today. They told me to come back Wednesday after my car goes into the shop. Well because of this, I have no vehicle to get to work, had to take off of work. I called my insurance company today to have them reach out to enterprise to inform them that I am covered to rent today. When I called this morning to see if I can come get a rental, I was told that they don't have many rentals and they are working to fill reservations they have. We'll I should have been a priority seeing they are the ones who neglected to go above and beyond and call the rental company yesterday when I was standing in there office to ensure the rental would be covered. Now they are telling me they are calling around to neighboring enterprise rentals to find cars for folks that has reservations today & then they will reach out to me to see if they can accommodate my request. WOW! I do not recommend this location for rental. I'm renting because I'm dealing with an unfortunate situation that occurred with my vehicle. They have no compassion and does not go above or beyond."
"We were very pleased with the manager Will trying to accommodate us for a vehicle to take on a road trip while our car was having work done on it. I seen him hustling to not only try to keep us and many others updated on cars coming in but he comes in early to clean vehicles as well. He found the perfect vehicle for us to take on our trip. It was almost finished being cleaned when we arrived. They make the rental process smooth and before long we were out the door. Tara was a great help to us on a previous rental. I seen how frustrated customers were getting, not being understanding of it being out of the rental companies control on when vehicles would be returned by renters. Con: The phone does ring nonstop and it is difficult to get thru."
