"2ND EDIT: After publicly shaming this Disaster of a facility and filing a Complaint with Anthem they Conveniently try to call back to schedule an appt. Too Late. complaints already filed Do Not Use This Facility. It will make you sicker EDIT: After receiving the “form response below I have placed a second review. as of August 2024 my appts have been cancelled in 3 times. I have filed a formal complaint with Anthem. The State Medical Board is next on my list. The Medical Staff is Great. Do not give up when encountering the EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE staff. It is a challenge for sure as their lack of Compassion is apparent from the start. Keep going and you will get help. Min wage work gets you min wage results"

"I have been coming here for years and honestly love the place. My therapist has helped me grow in ways I didn't think possible. Reviews show a negative outlook on the receptionists, but every experience I have had with them was warm, welcoming, and full of patience and laughter. They handle themselves very well and are incredibly patient with guests. The only negative i can come up with is their current rotating psychiatry department, but thats due to a shortage of people in the profession!"

"I've been with regional for a long time on and off and it's honestly more hit and miss than I'd like. My last psychiatrist; although highly recommended did not make me feel comfortable. It is very odd to me that someone; who literally has your sanity in their hands, can callously and unabashedly offer you mind altering meds, and nonchalantly seem irritated when you don't just throw caution to the wind and accept without informed consent. It is also really disappointing that again someone can callously ask questions about traumatic and triggering information methodically and unfeeling without asking if you're ready or alright to continue before moving on to their next checklist item. Also why is it that therapists who don't give you meds have more conversations and insight to your life than the individuals signing away benzos and narcs to get you through the day? The system is broken and I wish someone would fix it."

"I went here for both therapy and treatment for many years. Being here definitely contributed to the decline of my mental health. The nurses are amazing people and very nice but the receptionists are a completely different story. They come off as very rude and judge mental people. Always very passive aggressive towards anyone who comes in. I never felt welcome here even though I came here FOR YEARS. When it comes to doctors, they seem to not care about your well-being at all. They only care about getting your session over with. I would not come here or take your children here if you are interested in getting better. I was put on many different medications over the years and still never got better. They provided no aid in my recovery. Very disappointed in the treatment I received from professionals."

"I just love Dr Starks and his assistant Kemi! They care so much for the patients and it shows. Kemi ALWAYS has a smile on her face and is welcoming when you see her. She makes the patients feel very comfortable with being there. Dr Starks is the best thing that happened to my daughter in psychiatry. Thank you RHS for having such a wonderful duo."
