"I put 2000 dollars down on an 05 trailblazer. My kids and I caught the bus in the rain to cornerstone auto to meet Mr. JayBee. I told him the situation about someone previously selling me a lemon that I had for only 3 weeks before it broke down on me. I told him I needed a really good running car that I wouldn’t have to put any work into besides and oil change or tune up even new tires would be fine. I just couldn’t afford to put any major money into it. I explained how I missed almost a month of work because of the last vehicle. I has was a lemon. He told me to go look at the cars and let him know which one I was interested in. I picked a couple of them and he was told me that with the 2000 down I couldn’t afford those vehicles but if I were to give him 500 more I could get the vehicles I picked out. When I spoke I him on the phone prior to me coming to his lot I explained I needed a truck not a car and that I only had 2000 to put down. He told me could work with me. Now after he explained I couldn’t afford the other vehicle he proceeded to show me one vehicle I could afford and a couple of cars. I told him my family size is too large for a car. He showed me the trail blazer and told me the only thing it needed was a battery. I was a little taken back because why would I need to put a battery in a vehicle that is on a car lot. However i proceeded on with the vehicle sell. He ended up getting a battery for the vehicle brand new and told me I had to pay him 75 dollars for the battery. I told him I wasn’t going to pay him for that because he shouldn’t have took it upon himself to get a battery if he told me I was the one who needed to purchase it. I left the car lot on November 22nd with the vehicle I brought it back 2 days later because I noticed it was gas leak. I told him there was a hole in the gas line. He told me to bring the truck to him the Monday after Thanksgiving . I brought the truck to him and he confirmed the gas leak and told Me to pay him 250 dollars for him to fix it. I had to get the police involved because I couldn’t believe this man wanted me to pay him for something that should have not been an issue in the first place. He flagged me down at a stop light as I left his shop and said he would pay half of the job if I paid the other half. He made it clear I had to pay something though. Baffled I declined and told him I would see him in court. Mind you I’m still paying 200 every week still for this vehicle. I have had the vehicle for all of a month and the motor has blown and I replaced the radiator 2x. There is electrical issues and the under carriage is so rusted that I hit a pot hole and parts under the vehicle began to break due to the rust. He thought-lowering the payments to 150 was helping me with the car or as he said his Christmas present to me but I have now missed another month of work. My children have missed school and I am behind on all my bills simply because my transportation isn’t reliable and I don’t have anyone in my hometown that can help me back and forth. This man has caused issues in my life that I can’t get out of because he sold me a lemon. He told me he would never sell me a bad vehicle because he treats all female customers like we are his daughter. I feel bad for his daughter then because this man has made my life hell over this vehicle. He told me when then gas leak situation happened that he only sells good motors and transmission but that’s it. He said it’s a used vehicle and that I have to put money in it. Which yes I understood that part but putting money in over time is one thing but to have the motor Blow after having the vehicle for a month not to mention it’s been undrive-able for less then the amount of time I had it. When I tried to return It to him in the two days I had had it he refused even though he has no return policy whatsoever. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HIM he is shady and a narcissist who tried to get over on me because I am a women."
