"I had to get a battery replaced in my Chevy Equinox and the price was decent. They got me in the same day I called and it didn't take long. The gentleman that worked on my car was kinda enough to pull it up by the door. That made life so much easier with a small child and the terrible snowy weather we had."

"By far the WORST oil change experience I have had. I booked online through CarAdvise for 10am. Get there at 9:45am, walk in the lady was extremely rude on the phone to someone. I tell her I have an appointment booked. She grabs a clipboard with paperwork on it. She asks me how many cyclinders, I say I believe 4. She sighs and rolls her eyes. The other guest sitting there even made a comment about that. My 20 minutes oil change last over an hour and a half. At 10:45 she apologizes for the long wait because they are waiting on my oil filter to be delivered…….an hour after I arrived. I asked why I am just now being informed of this. She says “we had to wait for you approved it”……I received the text from CarAdvise at 9:58 and the confirmation of payment text from me approving at 9:59……. I told her to forget it because of I have other appointments. She basically said I couldn’t. The part didn’t arrive until 11:04…….it is now 11:18 and I am still waiting on my car…… I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY CUSTOMER HERE FOR AN OIL CHANGE. There was another customer here with a damaged rim. He left to get a new one…came back….it was the wrong size….went to get a new one, came back and his rim was changed before 11am. I have not been offered any type of discount….or anything for this inconvenience. Almost $100 for an oil change. I could have went to auto zone, got the oil came back home, watched a YouTube video how to change the oil in my car with the time they took to change my oil."

"Great overall experience. The lady at the front desk made sure all 4 tires I needed were in stock and made sure everything went smoothly. I was told vehicle would be done by a certain time and it was indeed finished when promised. She knew I had a busy schedule and went out of her way and called me multiple times to make sure I was on my way so that I wouldn’t have to sit outside and wait while they closed for lunch."

"Arrived 30 minutes before closing, walked in the shop and the lady there asked can she help. I explained my wife's check engine light came on, she said, we're closing. I asked if I could leave and have someone look at. She said the guy that does that is off on Monday so it won't be until Tuesday. Her attitude was the change my mind. Will never use this pep boys ever. ATTITUDE MAKES IT ALL, OR LOSES IT ALL."

"This was my first experience at a Pep Boys, and I walked away SO disappointed. First impressions can be tough, but they are so important. I arrived needing three services for my car, and I feel that I was treated very rudely by what seemed to be the middle-aged female manager. She did not greet me. She appeared to be irritated just with my being there. When I explained what I was hoping to get done for my car, she brushed me off and told me she had other customers waiting. I can understand that anyone could be having a bad day, but when I worked hospitality, I never let the customer know if my day was going poorly based on how I treated them. I ended up getting my services handled elsewhere. I will say, the other workers were very friendly, and I hope that they aren't treated the same way by their manager as I was."
