"Della has retired. Nice lady Ms Kim now. I litterally drove 50 extra miles a years to go to Munster Post Office cause of the older lady (Dellah) that works here. She is not people freindly ! Not sure why people rating the post office and carriers in general instead of this Hammond office which is what this is for. The Munster staff is freindly and place is kept clean. I feel welcome. Place is kept short of clean inside. Broken bricks around the flag pole to trip over and the dumpster is always over full of locals residents junk."
"The lady who usually works here is always professional and helpful to me. If I have a question, she answers it the best she can. She’s human, so I know sometimes there’s more work to do than she has hands. I couldn’t do her job. A lot of rude customers come to this location and talk to her any type of way, and expect that “customer is always right” mentality. Hopefully they get some additional help at this location."
"Older lady with glasses at counter was VERY rude. Heard her phone on coming from the back. I was at counter for 3 minutes and she did not come to the counter at all. There was a bell on the counter that I tapped 1 TIME and then she came to the counter literally snatched the bell off the counter and threw it behind her and it hit the wall. SO RUDE for no reason at all. I'm sure if you don't like what you're doing someone else would like to do it for you, With a way better attitude"
"i dropped off a packaged that i needed to ship on dec 20 at 2pm and the woman working at register was unnecessarily rude to me despite me responding back super nice and saying please and thank you. she had on glasses with thick frames. she also threw the hell out of my package into a pile of other packages that she more than likely threw as well. her car had the license plate “queen d” or something. ik this bc when i pulled up to the office, that car was the only one in the parking lot. annoying. hope she gets fired. hope she sees this too."
"Such a horrible experience with this Post Office. Because of Dellah (Queen D). Yes, this older lady in her late or early 60sss.... Was very rude to me! Short temper and no patience at all. She asked me to come up to the counter, I did. And, I only tried to ask a question that pertained to my package being delivered to this post office. She immediately was defensive and snappy (As if we had beef with each other) smh. This O.G. made my encounter with her a PTSD moment. Dellah the postal clerk, who wears glasses and wear gold blonde braids was trying to do extra attitude for nothing. I'm Very Disappointed in my elder on how she represented herself toward me. This is straight facts, and I have witnesses that were there also. My opinion is only mine. If you apply for a position where you will be communicating, using your interpersonal skills, interaction with individuals, mainly the public. Then, that's what you inserted yourself in, and everyday will be a different encounter with somebody else. This doesn't mean treat everyone the same if you had a bad experience with one individual. For me, I treat people the way, I would like to be treated. So, I won't dog out the O.G. but, I won't be coming back this Post Office Ever!!!"
