"Amazing library! There’s a place called “teen island” for the kids from memorial junior high to go to and it gives them snacks they have games there even events at times"
"My son and I enjoy going to this library. I love that they have plenty of events or classes to get into."
"Every time I come there to study there is all type of noise and disruption going on. No one walks around to monitor the library or anything. Just this morning someone comes and sit directly behind me with their phone on speaker phone loud as ever. I just got up and moved. This is a ongoing issue here. Just the other day someone came in and sat down eating a gyro dinner and had the entire section smelling like the corner restaurant. If it's not kids running around yelling, people on the phone loud, or people on speaker phones. It's never a place to concentrate or study on anything, it's way to many distractions. If you are trying to study in peace, this is not the place."
"Heard alot of bad things going on here lately. Apparently the new director has ruined almost everything this library used to stand for. People are leaving or getting fired at a place never seen in the last ten years, they're throwing out books rapidly and weeding them out at an alarming high pace, alot of events such as The Trivia was removed, the IDEA lab has been closed down and is never used. Alot of bad things I'm hearing about this. I think people are better off going to Glenwood Library."
"Excellent library with stupendous children’s section (lower level). Inclusive environment where librarian Beth happily went the extra mile to supply my autistic granddaughter with an entire basket of sensory/fidget toys should she care to utilize them. The place is clean, organized, well-decorated for the impending holiday (Halloween), and offers a ton of free programs and events!!!!"
