"One of the cleanest and best organized stores in the chain. Good customer service with pleasant employees."
"3 separate bad experiences here. Overall quality of this store is down compared to the others in this area. 3 separate times I have left without making a purchase. I don’t really expect much from any dollar store but it’s like comically bad in here. They don’t take Apple Pay or any tap pay. The front door is broken and falling apart. So you have to form a single file line to shimmy out, bizarre- why wouldn’t family dollar corporate fix this store if it has a steady flow of customers. Good things there’s not an emergency and lots of people trying to get out the door at one time. How is this safe? 1) opened ice and food in the frozen cooler is a health hazard. Very unsanitary and dangerous for frozen food and open containers to not be stored correctly. 2) I was shopping the clearance section and a worker told me hurry up because she was putting it away because someone was supposed to do it the day before. It was the day after Labor Day and it was summer clearance. Overall weird negative interaction. 3) There was water leaking from the ceiling once and racks of clothes everywhere, so damaged dirty merchandise. Also the workers are clearly unhappy based on their attitudes, no customer service skills at all. Overall, it’s disappointing that I can’t shop at a local store. I understand labor constraints but this Family Dollar store is sub par. Compared to the other stores this region and throughout the city of Chicago- this one is disappointing. Skip and go somewhere else."
"Bad costumer service the whole time on the phone in the ear having a conversation. They forget to take sale signs down and don't give you the sale when it's their fault"
"This place was meaning it’s about to close down you all better get in there cat food 1 and you all know we pay more then that. 8 pack of tissue / paper towels get up in get in there even if sacrifices need to be mad I sure did was worth it got to feed my fur balls!! All I gotta say is amazon sure is taking over make sure you all put them apps in pick a building you will be just find. Amazon crew !!"
"Need more employees. There is only ever 2 or 3 they seem kind but tired. While Dollar Tree has 2 cashiers and 2 or 3 on the floor stocking. Dollar Tree owns Family Dollar so I don't understand what is going on. It's been like this over a year now. December was the worst and as of now has not improve at all. I have talk to some employers but it seems like they been firing a lot people even the good ones. It's just sad that there was a shooting here they arrange the place but it never felt like it got better after that incident."
