"I was baptized here; made my first Holy Communion, first Confession and my Confirmation at Sacred Heart Church. In fact, my association with the parish goes back 1 Half Century..yes 50 years. When I began to take my children here, we would be 3rd and 4th generation worshippers. My grandmother, Annette Knight, was an ardent supporter of the nuns and the church withthe priests and deacons as frequent visitors to our home. Sacred Heart and their ministries reach right into the soul of the community feeding, clothing and consoling it..being the "neighbor" that Christ calls us all to be."
