"For some reason if you change your mailing address online you can’t request a replacement card on the app or online. So I decided to try and go on my lunch break to get a replacement card. When I walked in I went to the window and explained why I was there (no greeter). She tells me that a banker will have to help me. No problem, I go and sit down and a banker stops by to ask what I’m there and I tell her. Someone will be by to help me shortly she says. She leaves and goes into an office to chat with another banker ( about work I don’t know but there was a lot of laughing). No problem, I’ll stay patient and wait. She goes back to her cubicle after a while and helps whomever her client was at the time. There is one other person before me waiting, for a specific banker. I assumed she was free because the person she was helping said good bye and left. After about 5-10 minutes, I noticed that she was not at her cubicle, but behind the window, talking to other bankers. I didn’t say anything I just walked out. Of course, this is me venting after unsuccessfully getting my replacement card ordered. I don’t have issues with Bank of America. My only hangup is the customer service at this specific branch by one specific banker. It was partially my fault trying to get something done on my lunch break. I’ll try a different branch on a different day."
"I've done business in the past with Bank Of America but years have passed since then. Recently, I decided to open a checking account at the Stony Island location. When I received my debit card in the mail I couldn't activate the card. In fact, they stated they closed the account and told me they didn't have to provide a reason why they declined doing business with me. Although this business is currently under much scrutiny, I still took a chance. I went to the branch to have them cancel the check sent to me returning my deposit and they told me the check was sent out in June and now July still to no avail they won't stop the payment, instead I have to wait 121 days (October 15, 2023). They said to return to the branch then and they will issue a new check Please people, these banks are getting out of hand on how they handle customers. They continue to make money off of us while the customer is left inconvienced. Do not do business with them."
"This is the worst bank of America ever!!!!! They never have enough people beyond the counter to assist you. Every time I enter this location I'm literally waiting in line for 30-40 minutes. This location is closer to my home but the service is horrible. Instead of having people sitting at there desks in the lobby you should have them behead the counter..Worse location ever. Close it down if you cnt get staffing"
"Eduardo Sosa Is the best. He’s patient, respectful & very engaging with his customers. I went in to open an account but felt like I was catching up with an old high school buddy. This guy deserves a promotion with a raise . Keep up the amazing job dude, the world needs people like you ."
"I had a scheduled appointment today. The bank manager, instead of taking me to his office to discuss or help with my documents, decided to openly discuss my personal matters in the lobby. He was very condescending, telling me what I could have done instead of visiting on a busy day, repeatedly saying that it's the holiday's? He told me information that was different from what bank representatives told me. Overall, I was literally shooed away receiving no assistance and my personal matters discussed in the lobby. Highly unprofessional."
