"This was by far the nastiest food I've had in a very long time. I ordered $70 worth of food and no one ate it! Furthermore, I called to place my order and was hung up on 3 different times. I will NEVER order from here again. Terrible."
"The only reason I’m giving this restaurant a two star not a one star is because the cashier had good customer service and a smile on her face but other than that this food is not good. Food is bland. Chicken is unclean. All the wings had dried up blood and I had to peel through the meat. They could’ve definitely cleaned them way better. No taste, no salt."
"I was so excited to find a soul food place that was near my home, family-owned, and seemingly clean...Unfortunately, the food was disgusting. The chicken, nd mac and cheese were so bland, the greens were overcooked and from a can, rice and beans were overcooked, and the dressing was the worst I've had in my lifetime; bland, with too much gravy. The only halfway decent item were the yams. I will never go back."
"I wouldn’t say that this is the best soul food. Meatloaf with rice and gravy could’ve been seasoned better. Mac and cheese was good but every bite tasted like the yams that was next to them. I understand some people don’t mind their food touching but i don’t want to taste yams with EVERY bite of Mac. Bbq chicken was ok and cooked using open pit bbq sauce. Glad I supported a local black business but I probably won’t be returning."
