"The best butter chicken in Chicago! Every dish I've tried here over the past few years has been delicious, with just the right amount of masala and heat. My favorite staples include baigan bharta, murgh makhani (butter chicken), malai kofta, lamb gustaba, and the samosas. Their cocktails, especially the Hari Pari, are also delicious. They occasionally update their menu, keeping things interesting."

"Basant was great. The service was very welcoming. Right from the hostess seating us to the waiters being attentive to small details, we had an impeccable service. The food was outstanding. Not the most authentic but has a great spin to traditional Indian food. The gulab jamoon cheesecake stole the show. I'm looking forward to being back and trying other items on the menu."

"Comfortable upscale atmosphere, attentive and professional service, and food prepared just right. Started with the Giniac, a gin and amaro combination that was just the right amount of bitter and sweet . The lamb chops of the appetizer were correctly cooked, just a bit pink. Kachumber salad tasted fresh and the Naan bread was toasty. Chicken Basant and Chicken Makhani both with fluffy rice, were the mains and both are great choices. Really enjoyed the smokiness of the Makhani. Too full for dessert but will definitely consider it for next time. Can't wait to go back."
