"Always helpful, always accommodating; very nice people to do business with!"
"Today is completely ridiculous at this location 2 hours to serve 3 people. I arrive to a line of six people in front of me. Added there are six tellers behind the counter with only two windows open. One of the tellers at the counter, was also covering the drive-through. All the others that weren’t at a window were just laughing and giggling having a good old time. I sat there for 40 minutes watching construction men install a picture they completed their entire job in 40 minutes and the same people were still at the teller window. This continued for the last three hours. The service was completely horrible and it’s just deplorable that these cackling hens behind the counter can sit there laughing and giggling when I’m in the line with elderly seniors, all getting upset at this horrible service. Myself and other people in the line after finally, reaching the counter, asked the teller for a number to complain the teller refuse to give us any information stating that they would call us if they wanted to give us a survey. Then to add insult to injury in this predominantly black neighborhood, and mostly black patrons and elders in line the one Chinese man that was fourth in line, holding unmarked bag on wheels felt uncomfortable, waiting with us despite security, being 3 feet away. Proceeded to approach the teller the teller immediately took his back to the back and began his transaction. The way business is ran here is unethical and completely rude without even as much as an apology for the three hour delay."
"In short: TERRIBLE customer service, I cannot stress this enough, do NOT bank here if you care about how you are treated! Diamond Wright must have woken on the incorrect side of the proverbial bed because she was completely unprofessional and lacked any form of tact. Explained: Very shocked and dismayed to receive some of the WORST customer services in a long time. Clearly, I did not read the reviews prior to scheduling a virtual meeting (which US Bank allows you to book but does not actually do...). If you are considering opening a business account with US Bank, RUN! Do not do it. Diamond Wright was completely apathetic, and plain rude on a call this morning. When a concern was brought up, her response could be summed up as, it wasn't her fault nor her problem and to transfer the call to customer service, and the call went downhill from there. She over spoke me and my business partner, was condescending, lacked critical thinking skills, and was overall unpleasant. This branch needs to strongly consider getting her in customer service training and providing paid mental health days so she can de-stress and return to work with a positive attitude. Very disappointed in the service and handling of my business account. If you're considering banking here, don't. UPDATE: A different branch reached out and was able to assist and address the needs that Diamond claimed she was unable to do, what a shock."
"Run!!! My mom warned me years ago to abandon this ship and I didn't listen. My checking account is (currently) being closed do to fraudulent activity. It's be two months and the communication is horrible. Don't bother calling customer service, they'll toss you around like a Ceasar salad. You'll speak to 5 different departments before you're connected to the right one. Expect a minimum of 30 to 45mins before reaching any solution. My max call was 3hrs do to this situation and I'm not including the time spent in the branch; only to be referred back to customer service 24hr reps, who suggested I walk into a bank. They've lost a few branches in chicago, I'm not surprised. I do believe they're down sizing and possibly closing for good. Please open a checking account else where. Save yourself a headache."
"I visited this branch recently to open a new account. Upon arrival I was directed by a teller to sign the book and sit in the waiting area for personal bankers. There were two personal bankers, one on the phone, who in between calls acknowledged a gentleman who was there to see someone on the upper level. She immediately returned to the phone without acknowledging me at all. The other was assisting a customer and when she had an opportunity to acknowledge the two parties waiting, she did neither. I sat there for 30 minutes prior to the other customers arriving. When the banker finished with the customer, 20 minutes later, she walked to the book and then immediately went to the other customers and asked who was first. I was astounded considering I signed the book in front of her desk and sat by myself for 30 minutes. I was then told, they only see customers with an appointment. That info was not relayed by the Teller, no note on the desk with the sign in book and neither of the bankers bothered to greet the customer and inquire if either myself or the other customers waiting had a reply. I understand this is probably Covid protocol but this branch needs to be closed as they have no customer service whatsoever and from reading the other reviews, this has been going on for some time. Corporate needs to step in and resolve the issues as this is unacceptable and I dare say, this does not occur in non-black neighborhoods."
