"The food was cooked to order and hot upon receiving which was a plus in my opinion. It just didn't taste as the original recipe I came up on as a child. Maybe I should have had mild sauce, the hot sauce over powered the experience. The atmosphere behind the counter was unprofessional. You don't want customer to talk on their phones or be disruptive in your waiting area. Rules apply when your preparing customer's food and hold all the profanity that was used with one another on 7/3/24"
"Unfortunately, my encounter at Harold's Chicken Restaurant sheds light on the need for trustworthy and reliable establishments within our own neighborhoods. The hard and dry chicken, clearly indicating improper cooking techniques, was an inconvenience that wasted both time and money. It is disheartening to realize that one must venture beyond their immediate surroundings to find superior food and customer service. In order to foster a sense of community and satisfaction among its patrons, Harold's Chicken Restaurant should take this feedback constructively and address the concerns raised. By improving the quality of their chicken and ensuring a positive experience, they can regain customer trust and loyalty."
"Stopped in this place on a Saturday to place an order for 2 breast and fries. This was the only Harold’s that I ordered from religiously because they rarely disappointed, plus I like their fries and batter. The time is around 430/5pm. The man tells me it’ll be 15/20 minutes. I sit on the bench and wait willingly, 20 minutes passes. I go back to the window and ask for an update and he says “he still ain’t got to it yet, give it another 10/15 he’ll drop it right now.” Keep in mind there are 2 cooks behind and I don’t which he the man is referring to. 10 minutes later a young lady walks in to start her shift and relieve the man at the cash register, by this time there are at least 10 people checking on orders and barely any food going out and the food that is going out is mostly wings even people who have ordered within the last 10-20 minutes. Puzzled, now I have to get back in line and get another update because the amount of people waiting has increased significantly. Not only that the cooks and the male cashier are exchanging words with each other and at this point they are on the verge of fist fighting each other. I get to be window and ask the young lady about my order and she didn’t bother asking she just gave me a general “give it 20 minutes” answer. The chicken is good but not worth me waiting my precious time on this earth good. I request a refund and the girl smacks her lips and asks me what did I order and I tell her and she gives me cash back in the amount of the food before taxes. I looked at her and asked “since when do you withhold the taxes on an order that hasn’t been fulfilled.” She opened the register back up and start yelling “I don’t even care here take yo lil funky change, so I don’t even care da fuq?” Gladly my dear just know I wasn’t leaving without and since this day I have not patronized this or any Harold’s chicken since. I am big on customer service, if it’s not there neither am I."
"Today was my first time visiting, which was recommended. My order was very delicious and the flavor of the Halle Berry tea mixed very well with my dinner. I will visit again and this time, I will try the OH Life tea."
