"This man is completely unethical. He provided private documents about minor children to his client. He has no problem calling and harassing minors on behalf of his clients. Stay away if you have any ethics or morals or care about the privacy of your children."
"Learn from my past experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this attorney because he absolutely lacks character. One year ago, immediately following the termination of his services (i.e, the lack thereof), this attorney was instructed by two attorney's to transfer a substantial amount of funds he was holding in escrow (on our behalf). To date, he has yet to transfer said funds. When I had asked him to research an issue, he didn't--but he deflected the subject matter by making "EXCUSES" telling me he had two emergency child custody cases that required all of his time. Like I'm supposed to accept deflection? Afterwards, he still didn't research my question. Each time I had a discussion with him, I had to repeat everything twice. It was crystal clear he wasn't familiar with my case and doesn't take his job seriously. Is this the kind of attorney you want representing you? He had breached his contract by making empty promises he didn't keep. I specifically told him there isn't any child custody issues and he drafts a retainer agreement w/child custody as a part of my case. This attorney doesn't return phone calls nor replies to messages. Zero replies! When he didn't know how to open an Excel file in Gmail, he asked me to do it for him. Given his hourly rate, should he not take a basic computer course instead of merely taking retainers? At the very first meeting, he loves talking about himself and tries to warm up to you by telling stories that he expects you to laugh at. Is this the definition of a schmoozer? Then I get his self-centered ego trip, "I make a very nice living as an attorney" (Yeah, by taking retainers). I wonder if my retainer was ever put into a separate escrow account or perhaps my retainer “DIDN’T PASS GO!” and it landed in his Operating Account? Should compliance & ethics require the former and further requires sending the client the Bank's name, address, account #, etc. where the retainer is being held, I didn't received that information. Maybe he was behind on his BMW's monthly payments? Then I'm told more EXCUSES why he doesn't return his emails, "Oh, I'm not using that email address anymore, I had to change my email address because using AOL I got hacked" When I saw his computer screen, there were more flashing advertisements on both sides of his screen than "Dones has Pills!" So much for "privacy" when he's using AOL for his domain. When I asked Donna for his whereabouts (i.e., is he in the hospital?, is he on vacation? is he still practicing?, etc.) all she did was shake her head in bewilderment that he never called or replied back to me. At my very first meeting, he tells me, "I make a very nice living as an attorney"...It seems that his so called "very nice living" comes from taking retainers, dong very little work & then goes into hiding. For one (1) month plus, “Man Up and Vanished Like a Fart in the Wind!” Totally abandoned his practice. As in My Cousin Vinny, when Vinny was found in contempt and then pushed the envelope, the Judge gave Vinny two counts of contempt. Luckily, lovely Lisa Vito had enough Travelers Checks remaining to bail Vinny out before she got stiffed by JT playing pool. When this attorney finally returned back-to-earth, he wanted me to accept his insincere apology, "as-if" nothing ever happened! I had sent him several letters via US Certified Mail and he never acknowledged nor replied back to one of them. Let me say this, "Is this the kind of professional service you'd expect to spend your hard earned money on?" Save your money find another attorney with professionalism & character. I'm writing this for you not to make the same mistake that I made. If you too had experienced a similar experience w/Robert Katzenstein, don't let him get away with it! File a complaint with the State of PA Legal Disciplinary Board. One would think, at this stage of his legal career, "He would do the right thing by now?” Not so, I've got to believe this attorney is totally burned-out and just doesn't care about anyone except his self-centered "EGO" = Easing God Out!"
"I known Mr Katzenstein for years in the Philadelphia area. Now I am able to write a review. Mr. Katzenstein is honest and upfront with all his legal knowledge and fees."
"Being generous with one star since attorney never returns calls to clients or opposing attorneys. Charges outrageous amounts of interest for unpaid balances which are for charges for multiple filing of the same motion...even if it’s the offices mistake they continue to charge clients for their mistakes."
"Bob Katzenstein is a lifesaver and I mean that in every sense of the world. I was referred to Bob by a friend three years ago. At this time I rarely was able to see my child and my child support payments were astronomical. Bob not only helped me negotiate a fair plan to see my daughter and cut child support payments in half but he taught me something invaluable....he taught me how to be a good father. I cannot put into words how much Bob has done for my family and I. His guidance, advice and friendship during the hardest times of my life have been so important to me. His 30+ years of family law experience will benefit anyone who choses him to represent them. I went through 4 lawyers in 4 years trying to find someone who would be able to help me and would be honest with me (Bob is exceptionally honest and tells me both the good and the bad, that is another reason I like him so much). Since I have found Bob he has set me on the path of getting a great deal from the Bucks County Courthouse and my child's mother on both custody and child support, as well as how to be a good Dad to my child in this situation. I cannot stress enough how great my relationship with my child has become since I started with Bob. His influence has seeped into many other areas of my life and I can honestly say I am happier now than I have ever been! Thank you Bob! Your devoted client, Patrick H"
