"This place is awful!!! Jason the owner is a liar and a cheat. Ask any of his xe-employee's.Every one of us were treated badly. I myself was in a legal situation with him because his shop was dirty, and caused an infection in my eye(which I almost lost) then after everything I was fired for medical conditions. Yes....you are right....it's completely illegal. So if you want to put your money in the pockets of someone like that....well you do the math....oh by the way at least 3 of those pictures are mine and I neve gave any permission at ll to use...and as a matter of fact. This place was only selling kits until I developed the manufacturing line. Just showing the character of the people there...smh. *****the edit part of my comment ****** I was recently contacted by Jason by third party harassment, to against my RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH, to remove this comment and also... what he's not telling anyone is that I am an Iraqi war veteran with ptsd and he was notified before employment as to the severity. Now he threatened to sue me...well, I have the freedom of speech and I will not recant nor will I ever agree to any enfringements of my rights... Also...since he want to try publicly slander my name....I HAVE NEVER, NOT EVEN ONCE, had an addiction of any type. The reply he is giving is a lie right there and upon thoroughly reading the reply...wow. Prove my case some more Jason."
"Warning: Elderly Nieghbor sold me her Liberty Trike that she paid approx $1500 for because the key broke in half on her first attempt to use and so she was never able to use it. I reached out to the company and explained what happened and in my PRIVATE message to them I said “…Since I know elderly people people buy these, I was going to post a review with a warning… but good customer service goes a long way and problems happen…& so I’m hoping you’ll just replace the battery so that it can be used and I can at least say you stand behind your products.” Thee response from them accused me of trying to extort a new battery and though I didn’t see it that way, I understood why they wouldn’t approve of my choice of words and so I decided to be glad they responded and attempt to take their advice/instruction to try and either remove the key myself or take to a lock smith or 3. Send the battery to them and they would remove it…. (They rescinded the 3rd option after I asked what the best way to ship a lithium battery is…they said before sending it, I would need to figure out if it still works etc and so I saw that as a take away for this). I was not happy that in my need for customer service I was accused of being a dishonest extortionist and so communication was tough from the start. So after unsuccessfully following the steps they gave to eject the broke piece of key from the battery, I took it to a locksmith who was also unsuccessful at ejecting the key, they are still in possession of it and said they will continue to try. LIBERTY PUBLICLY SLANDERED my on their community group page. They posted a screen shot of my PRIVATE message to them for their community and included my name and public Facebook profile pic and asked their community to judge me and their handling of the situation. They only shared a part of our interaction and not the full story. This company doesn’t have public reviews on their social media and only allows people to post comments in a manner that allows them to delete anything negative and like me, they block customers from being able to post or view the pages of anything negative is expressed. He literally treats it like a “cult”. They told me that there isn’t anyone else that sells the battery needed but also told me that at I am not their customer since I bought the trike second hand. I attempted to explain that since Liberty is the only place to buy parts or battery any owner of their product is a customer since all are forced to spend money with them in order to maintain their product. I explained that I was fine keeping our communication private but if they are going to share my interaction with them on their group forum to be scored by their followers then they would need to remove my name and public profile pic. The companies response was to again state that I am not their customer and then they blocked me from viewing any of their social media. I can only assume that they are further slandering a potential new customer that reached out in private regarding a legitimate concern. If the key broke off in the battery the first time the elderly woman attempted to use it, then I had concerns and hesitation about buying a new one for $350. It was a legit concern and I didn’t deserve the nasty response or the public shaming. Why aren’t the reviews public on social media and why isn’t anyone allowed to say anything negative if it’s true? It’s very strange, sketchy, unprofessional, and when a person is public bashed and identity is shared, it poses both privacy and safety concerns for an individual. Shame on Liberty. If anyone knows of a different resource to purchase a lithium battery for the trike, I’d love the response. For anyone on the fence about the product, $1500 is a lot of money to spend when the key is easy to break off in the battery that costs $350 to replace. Def go with a company that is of quality and offers honesty and good service that stands behind their product. This was matter that we should have been able to resolve privately. Instead you block messages."
"I have a custom made Raleigh c40 hybrid lightweight 24 speed with e bike kit love it, now having a Norco Bigfoot fat tire bike custom made, can't wait till my ebike kit gets shipped.now have an extra battery for a long distance ride"
"Love my Liberty Trike and the freedom it’s given me. I needed to get out and be more active and my trike has done that for me! Great company with excellent customer service and follow-up. After visiting the factory and hearing Jason talk about all of his ideas for future, I feel like they will be around for a long time and that’s a win for me! If you’re thinking about it, go for it!"
"I purchased a red trike from Liberty after riding my neighbor’s white Liberty trike. We now spend some of our free time traveling thru Zion National Park. We get a lot of questions from tourists and other cyclists. (Handed out a couple of your business cards today). Wonderful trike and great experience."
