Reviews
"The course in great shape. Great layout. Alot of Elevation changes and blind tee shots. I live in tampa was traveling and just stopped and played. I wish i could play this course every day. I am a 6 handicap. It is a shot making type course. You must know your shot distances."
"Lexi was a great server. My Salmon BLT was delicious with a refreshing lemonade, comes with a side. What a nice lunch!"
"The first clue was the filthy golf carts that had not seen a hose in ages. The second, the grubby ladies room. They had our money, $70 each, so we carried on. Mike the pro shop guy was exceedingly cheerful, despite knowing he was ripping us off. We head to the turf-less range. The shattered yardage marker another neglected repair. Heavy equipment and piles of dirt seem to mean there is some sort of renovation happening that looked promising, however the nasty water from sprinklers running in breezy conditions made the range unpleasant for multiple reasons. Pity the poor employees hand picking balls in the distance. Tommy, the joke telling starter, tells us the course is challenging but fair and sends us on our way. I would say challengingly designed by Arnold Palmer yet so neglected, abused and thus totally unfair to the golfer. The fairways had been spiked though it was hard to tell when. There had been no evidence of cleanup, reseeding, or even watering. No roll to the once lovely undulating fairways which is kinda the point. So unfair. The cart paths are a rutted sand track. The greens were weird, weedy, spongy and no two alike. Even aeration of the greens would have made them easier to play. So again, unfair. We gave up after nine as this course is no longer a test of one’s golf skills, but just a waste of time and money. For a serious golfer, seeing this interesting course, once beautiful, I’m sure, is a travesty. The course website contains pictures of its former glory. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures of the current appalling condition. The clubhouse, just don’t plan your dream wedding there. I’m angry, I feel deceived, and I recommend you save your money."
"Total disappointment. This used to be a very nice golf course. Greens were horrible and they were aerating while we were playing. There was no mention when booking our tee times. The fairway grass is sparse and they have clumps of poa annua grass everywhere. Not even close to being worth $57 each, and on a Monday too. Btw, they also charge you a credit card fee. So sad that this place used to be so nice and now is little more than a Muni with members."
"Wow!!!! The new sous chef Patrick is the best thing that has happened at North Hampton. I ordered the swordfish. It was a very large portion, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the fillet and it was a beautiful cut and perfectly cooked as well. For dessert we had the handmade chocolate lava cake. Service was on point. Amanda and Jena are wonderful. We will definitely be back. Very excited about the new menu and eager to try the Sunday brunch!"
