"I was a lil worried after reading the reviews but my experience overall was good, they answered calls texts on timely manner I order a garage building through them (Handi House) and they contacted Carolina cart port for installation, the company Carolina cart port based in Georgia did great scheduling installation payment etc, the crew that showed up did the job great and building is up, obviously when installed they didn’t seal bottom part which is not included in your contract anyways but you can just buy that at Home Depot and do it yourself anyone can do it, anyhow so far everything is been good if anything changes I can update. But I figure to take the time and make a review for anyone looking to go with them that my experience was overall good."

"Please be aware. Do uour research before going to them. Wished I did. Poor customer service. No customer service after the sale. Won't return phone calls. Bought a enclosed garage from them. Has been a nightmare from day 1. First off they told they had no building permits, and would get some in a day or so. 2 weeks later after several calls to them they finally tell me they have them. Got my slab poured by another company and called to let them know I am ready for my install. Was told that my garage would be installed by Carolina Carports and they would contact me. 5 weeks later they finally show up, but didn't bring the 2 rollup garage doors. It's been almost 2 weeks and still can't get an answer as to when this will be finished. Make several calls no response, go by snd see them. Told they are working on it and would call and let me know something, but don't call me back. They say it's a manufacturer issue, but the problem is, I'd I went thru them to get the garage not Carolina Carports. They should be doing more to get some answers, but are not. This to me is not good customer service. They sell you something take your money, get their commission and don't worry about it after that. If I ever do get the problem resolved, I will never shop at another Handi-House again."

"Other than the very long wait time after placing order finally came yesterday 5/3/22 installed carport and guys were amazing! No issues on order Other than very long wait time and if they only be honest upfront with how long could waiting time could be it would be great out! Amazing and pleased with how it looks and constructed! 10stars to JB and his crew whom installed carport!"

"Met with them to get info on a shed and met Carey. They gave me a great price,brought out the shed, leveled and set it up in less than 30 minutes. I read some of the reviews on here and was a bit skeptical but it's been great customer service from everything I've experienced so far with them. The price was also good for the 10X14 that I got. I recommend them"

"On 2/23/18, I signed a contract for an 18X41 enclosed building with a 15X14 roll-up door. The price including tax was $14,337.73. Chelsea gave me the name of a concrete contractor to contact; everything related to the concrete pad was on me to arrange. On 4/20, I paid Chelsea $321.13 for the permit which included a $45 fee (optional) for Handi House to process the paperwork. The pad was poured 5/31. The building was completed on 8/3. First the good: Chelsea Jansen is an absolute joy to work with. She is very positive and anxious to help in any way she can. The building is a beast; very well manufactured and constructed. This building will survive anything Mother Nature can throw at it. The men who erected the building worked very hard, all day long. After checking several other vendors in the Jacksonville area, Handi House came in with the best price. Now the not so good: 162 DAYS from start to finish. It takes less time to build an entire subdivision! Delays were caused by weather, contractor availability, and the fact that I was busy working at my regular job and not able to devote the time to follow up on the processes. I was thinking that Handi House would take the lead in coordinating the project, but they were very “hands off.” I was having to do the bulk of the work in getting things done. My biggest frustration involved the rental of a lift. I did not find out that a lift was required until a couple days before construction began. That information came from the building manufacturer, not Handi House. I had to coordinate the rental of the lift. I thought this was going to be a one-day project; turned into 3-day because only 3 men were working on this massive building. The cost of the lift was $1900.80 (including fuel) for three days. I complained to Chelsea and she called the manufacturer who agreed to eat one day of the rental cost. I understand the requirement for a lift, but like many of you, I hate surprises. This would have been a major problem had I not the funds available to cover the lift. This information should have been communicated to me BEFORE I signed the contract. The takeaway from this review is this: you need to allow a lot of time from start to finish and you need to plan on being very involved. Handi House will process your order and take your deposit, but that’s about it."
