"Dr. Patel on his own is a fine and personable doctor. His receptionists on the other hand are not so great. My boyfriend and I went in to get an order for a CT scan for his skull fracture from a recent injury. No problems obtaining the script, but the preauthorization for insurance was never submitted, therefore causing us to pay out of pocket for the radiology screening and almost losing other doctor’s appointments in the process. When I called multiple times to follow up on this situation the receptionist was very short and completely blew off my comments, insisting that this wasn’t their doing and that I had to contact my insurance. The last time i bothered calling throughout this i was hung up on as I was speaking. Completely unprofessional and no justification to their actions. We will not be coming here again."

"Really nice MD who won't lecture you and does the right thing for his patients. I tried to persuade him to give me the Oz but he guided me on a better route and warned me of the complications of taking it which no one else tells you. Thorough, but doesn't cause concern or over-test. He knows there is wide range of variables in the human condition. But will order whatever tests needed. Best of all, if you need an appointment today - call and his receptionist will fit you in 100% of the time, every time. This is the only place I've ever seen that is this flexible. I drive 30 miles to see this MD and won't go anywhere else."

"My regular Dr. had retired and I had not been to Dr. for a few years and needed to get a physical. I was told Dr. Patel was a good clinician. Not so much. The office was dirty and not well maintained. Dr. Patel gave me papers for lab tests and said he would follow up with me when all my lab tests results came back. It has been 3 months with no follow-up from the Dr. or his office. I interpreted all the results with the help of the internet. I am currently looking for a good Dr. that is interested in treating/taking care of people instead of just grabbing your money for a 5 minute visit and sending you away to get lab work done with no follow-up."
