"Very impressed and pleased with this facility. My father took a fall at the end of May and almost died, but miraculously pulled through. He landed at another rehab facility and we were disgusted and appalled. Through life’s chaos, he ended up at St Mary’s in the end. The staff and nurses are wonderful, the therapy team is caring and communicative, and our social worker is a blessing. This place has the type of care that other facilities should strive for. Very pleased."

"Not sure how there are so many positive reviews for this facility. It’s a little suspicious to me. I can only speak to what I saw briefly on the first floor and more about the 2nd floor. Walking up to the facility feels like you’re walking into a nearly abandoned building- zero landscaping and the infrastructure is old and uncared for. Front desk personnel, absolutely lovely, but the second you get further into the building the lighting is a dank yellow which makes the place look like an asylum. On the second floor, I passed by people that were laying in beds in the hallway not sure why. The room that my loved one was in was old and neglected. The bed and the sink and the bathroom were clean. Out in the hallway was a constant loud beeping that never stopped and caused my loved one to have zero sleep. The nurses on the floor seemed annoyed to have to answer to the fact that that’s the way it is there and there’s nothing they can do about it. That part of the second floor smelled like urine in the hallways. You look out the window to the stations of the cross, but they’re all falling over and neglected. Center Management Group of Flushing owns this facility but by no means do they put any money into it. I will update this review once I see the rehab facilities."

"What a great place. Staff is always willing to help. Nurses are caring and the activities staff have so much to offer. Therapy even has a dog and the residents love him!"

"St. Mary's Center is a great place, every time I walk in someone is cleaning. My uncle is there now and when I go visit him his sheets are always changed and clean. Nurses, PT, OT, Speech, Respiratory therapists have been great. This place is hands down one of the best! I have seen some nasty places, but this place is great! Highly recommend! From Admissions, to Social Worker to Head Nurse, they were great and patient to work with! Very helpful! Thank you everyone at this facility that help each and every patient there!"

"I do believe that the first impression is most important and will tell you a lot. First time visiting and the woman at the desk was super friendly and helpful. She guided me through the process obtaining a pass and informed me next time it’ll be even easier. I didn’t have much interaction with other staff but it was lunchtime and people were being served. I did see smiles from staff and residents so to me that’s positive."
