"There is no comprehensive care. This is just one example: Recently, they forgot to test for cholesterol when it was the entire reason for the blood test. Plus, I requested the RX to be sent to Quest Diagnostics. They told me I had to pick it up from their office. However, when the RX was ready, they told me I could just go to Quest as the RX was sent. However, they sent my Rx to the wrong lab and then they could not figure out how to fax it over- I had to leave and drive to their office. Here is the kicker: they now have LabCorp in their own office and I ended up getting my blood drawn there! Also, I had to request an annual test in the first place since my physician doesn’t inform"
"I used to love this place when Dr Runfola was there. The office staff need to trained on Customer Service. They never return calls and no matter what you do the puck is always dropped to someone else. As of the New Year I will be taking 4 more family members out of this office and me as well."
"This practice was top notch. I have been a patient for 35 years. Unfortunately it was bought out by a corporation and they had the benefit of inheriting all of the clients that the caring doctors of the previous practice cultured. The “office manager” put me in an office and admonished me for questioning why my doctor of 15 years care prescribed the medication I was prescribed. Being on disability/ she had no problem with diminishing me to the point of tears - and even resorted to waving my prescription scripts while saying “do You want these or not”. Whatever medical right this woman has-‘should immediately be revoked. She admonished me for being there, diminished my medical condition- despite being disabled, and insulted me to the point of leaving in tears. This woman- this practice- these so uncalled professional should be ashamed"
"I have been with this practise nearly 30 years. I can see how the people with bad experiences interpret this practice, as the receptionist is is dry (but efficient and nevernasty). Sure there's gossip, but no more so here than anywhere else...these ladies just have a bad setup...no glass to keep their conversations private. As for the physicians, you will not get a better experience here, especially if you are a patient of Dr. Runfola. Be prepared for honesty, but a doc that listens and doesn't hustle you out (hence why you might be waiting 10 mins or an hour). He makes amazing specialist referrals. I can't say enough good things except I hate their hours. It's nice to be able to come in on a Sat, I guess, but they don't answer phones at lunch or too much after 4, so if you want to talk to anyone, be the early bird!!"
"Absolutely horrible! I did not even end up having any work done because they made me wait so long and I had to get to work where I actually treat my customers with respect. The receptionists/employees were the most unprofessional and rude I think I have ever encountered. I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early because I was going to be a new patient and wanted to allow myself enough time to fill out any necessary paperwork. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time before I got up and asked how much longer they thought the wait would be. Typically when I'm waiting in a doctors office and the doctor is running this far behind schedule, someone will approach me with some sort of apology and assurance they are moving as quickly as possible to get me in. Instead, I had to go to them and the woman LITERALLY rolled her eyes at me and sighed as she said "You're next". I told her that her response did not answer my question and that I needed to get to work. She then responded "It should be 15 minutes". They acted as if I was the rude one for interrupting their conversation about something I saw to be entirely inappropriate to begin with. This was now going to put me 45 minutes past my appointment time. I waited another half an hour, an HOUR past my appointment time before I got up and told the receptionist I had to leave. The entire time I sat in the waiting room the staff gossiped about other people and patients. They never apologized for making me wait so long, nor did they even seem to care. They were incredibly rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate. I will NEVER go back to this place and HIGHLY recommend that you do not give them ANY of your money."
