"What a wonderful, kind, caring and knowledgeable physician. I met her today to establish care it was refreshing to know I was actually being heard."
"Advocate. Advocate. Advocate. For yourself, your kids, your loves ones. Now, I don't know about the doctor but the front desk and the office policies are the worst. My son was getting bullied by teachers and beat up by students to the point where he wanted to die. The school nurse and I strongly believed he had ADHD which was contributing to things and effecting his whole quality of life and relationships. We were new patients here and had an appointment for two months from when I first called. When he started getting beat up, I called and asked if I could get the ADHD teacher and parent evaluation forms in advance so by the time we eventually got there, we could at least have those finished. I was told I'm not the doctor and I don't get to make those decisions. To be clear, I didn't ask for a blank script pad, just an evaluation so if it was that, we could get my son some relief sooner because he was talking about dying. This was a child who wanted to die and that was the response. There are no words for how helpless I felt. Fortunately I was able to get another pediatrician's office on the phone who was willing to see us just a few days later but also listened and took very careful note of everything that was going on over the phone so they could get a game plan going. Our new doctor was profoundly concerned for his well-being and mine as well. By the time we got there, we did an in office evaluation, reviewed his history and what was going on at school, I showed her the self evaluation we did at home after 15 years of teaching elementary school kids, and he received an ADHD diagnosis and intervention almost immediately. Just whatever you do, no doctor, policy, or anything should stop you from speaking up for yourself."
"Dr spent a good amount of time with wife and answered lots of questions that other doctors would of asked to schedule a second visit for it. Speaks english and Spanish, friendly, is now wifes pcp."
"The worst ever. She don’t have any care to her patient . Talking with her or following up after blood work ordered by her is a dream. You are the worst doctor that I have ever dealt with . Good luck to your patients who will suffer with you and your stuff."
"Dr malave is great but the staff is beyond incompetent. It took a week and 10 phone calls to try to get a prescription refill and it was as only after the maybe 7th phone call that I was told I needed an appointment before I could get a refill. Then the appointment wasn’t for two days. They didn’t care that I was out of my medication and I was going through withdrawals. Stay away!! Go to Cooper haddon heights instead. They got me in sane day. Wonderful staff"
