About the Business
Welcome to The Consumer Satisfaction Team, Inc. (CST) – a pioneering non-profit organization located at 520 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since our inception in 1990, we've been dedicated to amplifying the voices of individuals and families navigating publicly funded behavioral health services. Our unique team is entirely comprised of individuals in recovery from mental illnesses and/or substance use, as well as family members of those who have experienced similar challenges.
In partnership with the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbilities (DBHIDS), CST is committed to gathering and relaying crucial feedback from service users and their families. Our mission is clear: to ensure that individuals, families, and communities are educated and empowered to achieve health, well-being, and self-determination according to their expressed needs and desires.
CST was born out of the need to give a voice to those transitioning from state-run psychiatric facilities, such as the Philadelphia State Hospital, to community-based care. We continue to champion the needs and desires of these individuals, ensuring they play an active role in shaping the services they receive. By doing so, we aim to enhance the quality and effectiveness of behavioral health services across the city.
