Dr. Joseph Kipp, MD 11 Friends Lane, Newtown, PA 18940

"Speaking from the former manger of the front desk at Village at Newtown Medical Center, I would like to start by saying as a “business” it is ran extremely poorly by the owner AKA Dr.Kipp & the office manager. I wasted five and a half years of my life getting taken advantage of. Up until I was “promoted” my work ethic was raved about because I took on the role of 3+ people being under paid for YEARS. My “promotion” was down played as the “bigger deal” was promoting the new office manger who NEVER has the courage to speak out for her staff. As a “manager” my word meant NOTHING in this facility due to that. I took the blame for EVERYTHING & then got looked DOWN on due to the incompetent employee’s my boss left me with. This issue went on for 9+ months & came to the point the patients were confronting me about the incompetent employee. Everything was looked past by the individual who manages this “office” Becuase she has to many feelings and feels bad for an old , incompetent person who has made it clear as day they are unable to preform the basics of their job after serving FOUR years. When it comes to the patients in this establishment, they are by far the RUDEST people I have ever encountered , expect the few that see & pick up on the horrible environment we work in. It was to the point patients needed to ask for specific employees to take their calls in order to make sure it gets done.. That is extremely sad let alone considering the patients can pick up on it but yet the owner of the practice can’t. Going back to how NASTY the patients are & can be, it’s to the point they harass the front desk. Scream , yell , curse , called 5+ times a day DUE to the OWNER ignoring their controlled medication request & ignoring the staff letting him know they are literally harassing us. The patients can speak to ANY staff member how ever they want & serve no consequences to their disrespect. Let me double down one more time how our “boss” does not care at ALL about his staff. He is willing to continue accept new patients ( of course to benefit his pockets) but him , himself is NOT willing to see new patients , LET ALONE his OWN long time patients. He REGULARLY moves patients who specifically asked & waited to see him right to another PA & a doctor they are unfamiliar with , which as an older person THEY AREN’T COMFORTABLE with. He lets his staff from the front desk , MA’s , PA’s & other doctors deal with the anger of HIS patients. It’s truthfully disgusting & alarming for a facility to be ran this poorly. They unfortunately lost not only one but multiple good employees due to their lack of maturity . This place is truly pathetic to say the absolute least. The best thing I could have ever done for myself was get out of this establishment."

"An amazing Dr with a great staff that is very attentive and takes time to know and understand his patients. Fantastic Assistant is Madison who I highly recommend. Easy to get appointments and extremely competent staff. Refills never an issue with timeliness. Always responds quickly. 10/10."

"I called the other day to have a prescription refilled and the office told me that Dr. Kipp can no longer have me as a patient as I live out of state now and telehealth visits are apparently no longer in existence there for some reason. The last time I called for a prescription was 4 months ago but they did not tell me to find a new doctor at that time, they instead waited until I was out of medication. I have now been out of my medicine for days and am going through awful withdrawal. The woman who I spoke to on the phone said they would prescribe one last month of the medicine until I can see a new doctor but that was a lie apparently. The office is clearly outdated and needs a serious upgrade as well as kinder front desk people. Very disappointed."

"I don’t know where else to place a review of this doctor or how to get a hold of him so I’m using this as my mode of communication. But Dr. Kipp is continuously prescribing my dad medication‘s when he is obviously an addict. He has no care for patients overall health. My dad has gone to rehab multiple times for Xanax and Klonopin. And yet this doctor keeps prescribing it for my dad. My dad first went to rehab for Xanax, so the doctor thought it would be OK to prescribe him Klonopin… Even though they’re both benzos and from the same drug family, my dad has since going to rehab for Klonopin and Dr. Kip is still prescribing it for him. He should really be turning my dad away at this point. Knowing full well that he is an addict, has been to rehab, is a liar and manipulative, and is going to therapy and a psychiatrist. If he needs medication for mental health, he will get it from his psychiatrist. Stop prescribing my dad any type of medication."

"Dr kipp is one of the most competent doctors I've ever seen I've been going to him for years, I also see Dr lawless when available The whole operation is the best I've seen in my life they are amazingly very patient and always pleasant it's a well managed opereration with a very competent staff Special thanks to both Dr kipp and Dr. Lawless I cant forget the staff and I thank them for all thier willingness to help while keeping a very friendly environment in every category Good job everyone.
