Second Baptist Church

"Well, I'm from a Mega Church in Chicago, just moving to this area. I've become accustomed to huge choirs, praise and worship teams, lights, camera and action. Second Baptist is a beautiful, moderately sized Bible Based Church. They have anointed male and female soloists, as well as monthly, seasoned choir selections.They understand the importance of setting the atmosphere for learning the Word of God. It reminds me of the old school Baptist Churches I attended as a child. Pastor Hutton is serious about teaching the Word of God and saving souls. Everybody is very friendly and it's clear that they want to make you feel at home. Also, the Wednesday night bible study is interactive. I haven't seen a Pastor in years that encourages and allows congregants to ask questions during a bible study. Again, Pastor Hutton loves teaching the bible and always does so with a smile. If you're looking for a church home that is no nonsense, bible based and encourages learning and living the Word of God, Second Baptist is the church for you!"
