"I volunteered in soup kitchen also loading groceries for the folks that needed help at the pantry. Some folks feel bad enough having to go to a food pantry . I saw how some people were treated. Shameful. We should treat everyone with love n respect. Could be us one day in need of food."
"How about anyone that is complaining about a place that gives FREE FOOD TO PEOPLE simply just goes and gets a job? That way, you don't have to deal with "rude people" or the free food not being up to your satisfaction. Never have I ever read so many ungrateful reviews for a free service. If you're going here, you shouldn't complain about how the person that gives you free food acts. If you do, you're a soup sammich yourself."
"The woman who runs this place (Laura) is completely rude and inconsiderate to everyone who goes there. She's loud and always in a bad mood. I have never in my life seen someone so rude who works at a soup kitchen feeding the homeless and non homeless population. Last time I was there she was chasing 3 homeless people out of there who were trying to finish their meal. Furthmore she called the cops on me on this particular day and was very verbally abusive towards me. Now I can't go there for a month. She's a truely disgraceful person for how she treats people who go there on a daily basis. I reported her to the board of directors. I also tried to get a second meal for my boyfriend, this was around 12:25 close to closing, she had about 6 meals left. She told me no because the woman on line behind me was picking up 2 meals and also someone else was coming in after her to pick up 2 meals. So why were these 2 people intitled to 2 meals and I couldn't take 2?"
"Sometimes the food is good, other times they give you a tuna sandwich. Make sure you wear a mask."
"This was my first time here since I was little I brought my 5 year old granddaughter We sat in the parking lot waited for the line to get shorter. I decided to go in because waiting on her mom she was getting hungry the woman at the table was very rude to us. I will starve before coming back here."
