"Just wanted to Thank Sherry Norlander for your patience and professional advice. You are a great asset to this company. We put in a new furnace and A/C changing from oil to propane and she answered my million questions and made the transition like a walk in the park. Also the guys that delivered the tanks were very nice and professional (didn't get their name) No issues so far and very happy with our service."
"Sherri came to our house and was extremely helpful. We recently moved to New Jersey, so living in a house using propane was new to us. Sherri did an excellent job of explaining everything in a way that was really easy to understand and easy to understand. The installation of our tank was also excellent. Thank you!"
"Would not recommend them or use them again. They were extremely difficult to work with during the initial set up. Contracted with them to install a tank for use with my gas fireplace. I asked them to hook up a splitter so I could also use the propane in an emergency for my backup generator and they refused saying the generator might not work unless the tank was full and they didn't want to get refill requests if the tank was only half full. Now that I have natural gas in the house I contacted them (6 weeks ago) to remove the tank. Tank is still here and I just got a $116 random charge on my credit card from them. UPDATE-to respond to Combined Energy's reply My phone shows my call was placed on Sept 1 2022 at 11:57AM. Not sure why you wouldn't have a record. Also to clarify I totally understand the why your company wouldn't install the splitter hose for my generator. This was requested by me to give my family peace of mind that we had an additional source of fuel for our generator IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. Your rep made it perfectly clear that the owner didn't want to do this because the generator might not work if propane levels got low and they didn't want to be bothered making a propane delivery for a tank that might be half full."
"I was a new customer to Combined energy, as I had just bought a home with propane. All went well at first, until I tried to get a generator hook up estimate as I was installing a whole home generator. Paul did not give me an estimate or a time that he would be out. 3 months went by with multiple calls for an estimate, to no avail. The day of my generator install it took my electrician to even get someone from the company out to give an estimate. When all was said and done I had agreed but again I received a call with information that was not conducive to what was told to me at my home. I have since subsequently had to have Combined release me from my contract so that I may find a more reliable company."
"I signed a contract with Paul in the Spring when they said they wouldn’t support my old tanksls anymore. To be fair, this is for a summer house on an island at Lake Hopatcong that is accessible only by ferry or boat. I called to refill the tanks and could not get anything scheduled for two weeks. At that point the other tank ran dry, and then I was told they can’t deliver until the Spring. I completely understand that my house is logistically challenging but no one is willing to work with me and we couldn’t schedule a weekend delivery even with 3-4 weeks notice. To top it all off, they said I would still be responsible for the minimum usage which I can’t hit because they won’t deliver. Completely disappointed."
