About the Business
Welcome to Jo's Outreach Food Pantry, a beacon of hope and support in the heart of Monroe and Pike Counties. Conveniently located at 114 Academy Drive, Minisink Hills, Pennsylvania, our pantry is dedicated to serving those in need by providing not only food but also essential items at no cost. Since our inception, we have grown significantly, and in 2017, we proudly became a Pennsylvania state registered food pantry, enabling us to extend our reach and impact to even more individuals and families in our community.
Jo's Outreach Food Pantry is named in loving memory of JoAnn Pierri, a remarkable woman known for her selfless dedication to helping others. JoAnn, the beloved wife of Angelo Pierri, Senior Pastor of Light of the World Church, embodied the true spirit of giving. Her legacy of compassion and generosity lives on through the work we do each day.
We invite you to join us in making a difference. Whether through volunteering your time or donating food and other essentials, your support is invaluable. At Light of the World Church, you'll find a warm, family-like atmosphere where love and community thrive.
Together, let's continue JoAnn's mission of spreading kindness and God's love to those who need it most. Visit us today and become a part of our caring community.

"I really appreciate them helping people but I went there for the first time last weekend...I got there at 9:18am (opens at 9) I was number 87 they were up to number 20 or so..there's nowhere to sit, I'm disabled and can't stand too long and I have a wound vac on my foot...I waited over an hour and half and they were still only up to number 39...there was no way I could wait another 2 or 3 hours to get in...I wish this information was disclosed somewhere so handicapped people can be prepared to wait on foot or sit on hard rocks for 4 hours...again I appreciate what they do but maybe better management for handicapped"
