"Deer Park Camp and Retreat Center- A Truly Magical Experience. I happened upon Deer Park when searching for a venue for my wedding. As soon as I started to look through the photos online- I was determined to have my wedding there! I made an appointment to see the camp and retreat center in person, was fortunate to get a date and then began 10 1/2 months of planning! The planing was intense but looking back was a very fun and creative time! There were so many possibilities when it came to Deer Park, it’s facilities and breathtakingly beautiful grounds! We decided to take advantage of a clearing in the woods for the ceremony (the indoor chapel was the rain plan), the stunning historic auditorium for dinner, the outdoor patio for dancing and the dining hall for the cake cutting and coffee. Additionally, the wedding party would stay overnight in the lodge at Deer Park and the wedding guests had the option to stay in the cabins or to bring their RV for camping overnight! Other guests could opt for the hotel right next door :) Kim and Colin, Deer Park’s Caretakers, were absolutely wonderful to work with in this exciting but sometimes stressful time! They welcomed us with open arms and were there to answer questions logistically about all that was happening over the wedding weekend! They helped us with set up, guests arriving, coordination of catering teams, musicians, flowers etc that we had arranged and with check out. We really could not have pulled any of this wedding off with out their support and help! Kim is a true sweetheart and wonderful ambassador for the peaceful sanctuary that is Deer Park :) We also appreciated that we were trusted to “do our own thing” and set up and use the camp as we envisioned! In summary, I can not say enough about Deer Park and feel so lucky to have had my wedding here! Deer Park is a sacred meeting place and we all felt that all week-end. Our families and friends always bring up the fun times we had all coming together (many family members for the first time) with the opportunity to stay on site overnight. Here are a some photos :)"

"If you are looking for natural beauty, Deer Park is the place for you. Peacefulness surrounds you as you drive up the gravel road when you enter the property. I have been to this place for meetings, have staffed our Junior High Level Camp here, and married my beautiful wife here. I have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly with wonderful customer service. I highly suggest walking the labyrinth that exist just inside the woods. If you are looking to get back to nature, a quiet place to meet or a beautiful place to get married. This is the ideal location."

"over the past 5 years I have been participating in gatherings at deer park. There are two things that keep me coming back aside from the gatherings themselves. One is the beauty...both scenic and energetically...that is deer park. Two is the friendly and helpful management..that in my experience...go above and beyond to make sure that whatever it is that we are doing there goes off without a hitch. As long as deer park keeps welcoming us with open arms I will continue to go there and enjoy all the beauty that it has to offer. If you are in search of a place to hold any kind of gathering I highly recommend deer park. My best guess says that you will have a similar experience that I have everytime that I am there."

"I’ve been coming to Deer Park for 23 years and look forward to every visit. It’s a beautiful site, a spiritual oasis, in a forest in Bucks County just off 202 not far from New Hope. Retreats, weddings and gatherings of all kinds are held there, with wonderful reviews. The facilities are excellent for meetings, sleeping, eating, swimming or just walking in the woods. The managers, Kimberly and Colin, are caring, creative and have been very responsive to my questions and needs."

"The place is very run down, nothing like the pictures on the website. Their website also lists a pool, ropes course, and canoes — none of which are actually available. My group was very disappointed as we paid full price for such activities and got nothing. They expected us to clean the lodge/bathrooms thoroughly before we left, even though they were not clean when we arrived. Staff is not clear when communicating about deposits & such. We were completely misled and will not be back."
