"First, let me state I have corresponded with (2) two legitimate mechanic shops and both service staff admit that Chad at Caribb Moto Cars should not have filled my car with Freon without draining out the prior. They informed me that the system is under pressure, therefore Chad should have known better not to just add Freon without having the knowledge of whether the system just needed to be emptied or drained versus a pin-hole or not. Initially Chad already knew hot air was blowing out of the vents, but he did not complete the appropriate service that was promised. The other mechanics asked me if Chad place one can or two cans in the system? Did he bother to bleed it out before actually filling it? By their expertise they concluded that Chad did not care whether he was doing the job right, he just took your money. Chad is not a person of his word. I got an oil change on Groupon and while I was there I asked about the Air Condition Service. He told me it was $60 and if there is a problem he would not charge extra to find out where the pin-hole was and the Freon would also be free of no charge. So, I get my oil change and Chad fills it with Freon. It was less than 20 minutes before he gave my keys back and told me to contact him if it does not stay cool. He said just keep the air on and it should not take long to become cooler. As soon as, I got in the car I felt warm air in the "front area" of the car, but the back ventilation was blowing much cooler. I thought maybe it needed to stay on longer. I drove up home and in my driveway. Since I had to go to bathroom I shut my car off because I only have (1) one key. When I came back outside and turned the car back on it was hot air blowing out of both vents. I called Caribb Moto Cars but no one answered. I was determine to find out the issue because it was not only HOT but the leather seats in my car made it even HOTTER! I just paid $60 and I wanted to finalize what was truly going on. I return back to Caribb Moto Cars since Chad did not answer the Shop phone neither his cell phone. I wanted to lock in a time for Chad to follow up on the matter. Chad stated I had to leave the car with him for just (1) one hour. I asked Chad what time do you open and he said 8:30 am. I would have dropped the car off at 6:30 am but this location is not a safe one and as I understand that they close the gate to the entrance of these garages so I had to wait until leave my job at 12 noon. I got to Caribb’s Moto Cars at 1 pm. Chad told me to leave it and asked if he could drive my car to his home since his equipment was at his house. I asked him what time does he leave and he indicated 4 pm. I told him I would return at 3 pm. He asked me to text his phone so he could follow up to tell me the problem. I left my car for 2 hours. I called BEFORE I got there but no one answered. Please note: I called the shop phone and Chad’s personal cell phone. I also text Chad as he requested me to do so. GUESS WHAT? WHEN I GOT TO THE YARD I NOTICED MY CAR PARKED IN THE "SAME PLACE" AND CHAD MADE NO ATTEMPT TO CALL ME OR FOLLOW UP ON THE SERVICE THAT WAS INCLUDED IN THE $60. NORMALLY, I WOULD NEVER GIVE A PLACE LIKE THIS MY MONEY BECAUSE OF ITS LOCATION, BUT I PUSHED MY GUT FEELING BACK AND DID NOT FOLLOW MY HEART. I WASTED $60 DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE THIS MAN WAS NOT A PERSON OF HIS WORD OR WORK ETHIC. CHAD MADE EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK TO NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE, BUT BLAMED THE CAR HE WAS WORKING ON - WAS THE REASON WHY HE DID NOT GET TO MINE. YOU SEE, EVEN IF HE MADE AN EFFORT TO STOP AND CALL ME OR AT LEAST SEND ME A FEW SMOKE SIGNALS THEN IT WOULD HAVE SUGGESTED THAT HE CARED SOMETHING ABOUT THE WORK HE WAS DOING . I HEARD THAT GARTH CAMMOCK IS THE OWNER OF THIS SHOP BUT HE WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. IF HIS WORKERS CONTINUE TO TREAT CUSTOMERS IN SUCH A MANNER HE WILL NEVER HAVE A GROWING BUSINESS, BUT ONE THAT HAS A BAD REPUTATION!"
"Garth and crew are very courteous. I needed a synthetic oil change done and he did it at the most affordable cost and I asked if he could rotate the tires and check the suspension, he had no problem doing it. He's now my personal mechanic as a result!"

"I purchased a Groupon for an oil change and called this shop to make an appointment. The person answered promptly and gave me two appointments to choose from. I chose Saturday morning since I'm driving from Philly and didn't want to get caught in traffic. I arrived at 10am (my scheduled appt time) to find the gate closed and no sign for the shop. I went to a nearby tire shop and they said "their not open, you're the second person to come looking for them today". I waited, assuming they'd been delayed somehow. I called and this time did not receive an answer. After the second call I left a voicemail. Still there was no response or contact from the shop after 25-30 minutes. I was stood up on my first impression. Clearly this shop owner is unprofessional and has no regard for his customers' time. I would never recommend this garage, it doesn't matter how cheap."
