"When you have a first-generation vehicle like the Ford F150 Lightning, design issues are expected but should be resolved over time. I helped my father-in-law multiple times with his battery's life expectancy issues. Although the battery is under warranty, after four attempts, the dealership has not provided a formal solution. Initially, the battery was supposed to provide 300 miles per charge, but after six months, it only managed 280 miles. Now, it only gives about 230 miles per charge. Despite following Chapman Ford's suggestions to prevent battery drain, the issue persists without a satisfactory solution. Chapman's communication was rough at first, but service manager Dave tried to assist us in getting resolution for the problem. However, he couldn't provide a formal reason for the battery's life expectancy issue. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to shuttle my father-in-law back to the suburbs deserve credit. However, since they couldn't resolve the issue (after four separate visits for the same issue) , a warranty replacement should have been offered. Instead, we are asked to wait for 1-2 months for Ford to provide some updates which will not guarantee a resolution to the issue at hand. Let’s get this resolved Chapman, do the right thing with that amazing customer service of yours...."
