"I brought my 2019 Edge ST in for service and provided a photo of the warning message that was displayed; "Gear selected will engage at low speed". Family Ford couldn't reproduce the problem and advised not to change gears quickly. I advised this happens while in reverse; not while changing gears. They returned the vehicle to me and said to come back if it happens again. I understand it is a difficult issue to diagnose but it is still there."
