Reviews of Gena's Pizza
"I stopped by Gena’s recently after a friend recommended it. It’s about 30 minutes from my house but I’m always willing to travel for good pizza. It did not disappoint. Pizza was hot, the ingredients tasted fresh and the dough was flavorful. The staff greeted me warmly. This is exactly the kind of local family business we should all be supporting. I look forward to returning soon to try the wings this time."
"Was gonna give 4 stars, only because their fries are just meh... However... their house made Buffalo sauce is absolutely amazing and I wanna buy a jar of it!!! Great pizza as well for sure. But their wings, and Buffalo Chicken cheesesteaks are the best around. Happy I live so close."
"Great local gem, it's a second generation woman owned business she's originally from Philadelphia but is making her waves on this side of the bridge. Come here if you enjoy hand made happiness!"
"The roast beef is made in-house, very low and slow. The beef was so juicy and perfectly tender. They place it on a soft and chewy Amoroso roll with spinach, provolone, garlic, oil, and long hots. I love garlic, I can't have enough garlic, and it came out ever so complimentary in this sandwich. Along with the slight heat from the long hot, I was doing the Mark Wiens heavenly eye roll. I was alone in my house, but I was looking around like the food ranger trying to find someone to give a thumbs up to with the patented "ohhh mmmm yummm." All my traveling eater vloggers jokes aside, this sandwich was everything I thought it was going to be and more! For the lunch special, it came with a small side of fries, which were pillowy and soft with a nice crunch, even after my 15-minute drive home. I hear this spot makes some killer pizzas, garlic knots, wings, and more. I hope to get back there again soon to try more of their offerings!"
"The wait time was a little extended, BUT that’s okay. Everyone has to understand , that as a business especially in the food industry. People are short staffed, and making food could be time consuming. And that’s anywhere you go. At least, the person making your food is cooking with love, patience, and are working super hard . So everyone should learn how to be patient with them ! Anywho, They have a great variety of different things to pick from. I ordered fried pickles, which I’ve never had. But, I can say it was a tremendous first experience :) Garlic knots were different from other locations, typically they are small but these garlic knots were huge AND tasty . And it’s good to stand out from other businesses. For the pizza we ordered a Sicilian style Magnolia Pizza. The pizza was not too seasoned but I’d say for me that is perfect ! My family did like the wings, I’m not a fan of BBQ but they said they were great . And I believe the owner is who I talked to, she was very open and sweet. Great job on bringing a great great pizza shop to the area !:)"
