"When we walked in there were no booths available but the host made sure to still accommodate us allowing us to be seated at the floor table although it had to be for a party of 4 and there was only two of us. From beginning to end the experience was amazing. The service 10/10, the food 10/10, the atmosphere 10/10. We will be visiting again soon Insha Allaah"

"Mocktails are excellent and very fairly priced. The chicken and beef dishes are extremely filling and fairly priced and the best that I've had in Philadelphia, best enjoyed family style. I highly recommend the Beef Vindaloo and Chicken Korai. The vegetarian options need to be expanded dramatically - there's no reason that the same meat dishes can't simply have the meat replaced with a vegetarian option, but with the same sauce. We requested the chicken 65 with a paneer replacement for a vegetarian in our party and were denied. This doesn't really make any sense to us and this should be changed going forwards."

"We went to woondal last week. We had to check it out after seeing all the good reviews on social media. We ordered mango lassi, orange mojito and pina colada for drinks. Drinks were delicious. For starter we ordered chicken keema puri, which is stuffed puri with chicken, and chicken lolipop. Chicken lolipop was excellent. For the main course we ordered beef Hyderabadi biriyani and woondal special biriyani, which has beef, chicken and shrimp mixed for proteins. Biriyani was really tasty. We also ordered chicken fingers and fries platter for the kid. Food were excellent. I suggest they pair biriyani with raita as the biriyani was indian styled. I also suggest they serve a side of lemon or lime, green chilli and onion with meal as we get in desh. The wife asked for green chilli and lime and they happily brought some out from the kitchen. They also have a party hall next door which is pretty specious. The decor was topnotch. The hospitality was on point. Overall a satisfying experience. Another good restaurant with all halal food in the northeast. Loved it."

"The staff was attentive, and the food was good. Came on a Wednesday evening, and there was absolutely no one here. Butter Naan was fluffy. Butter chicken was delicious with the buttery sauce goodness. The beef curry (which I can't remember the name anymore) was amazing. Right amount of spice. Super flavorful. It was packed with beef, and it was just so tender. Mango Lassi was lukewarm, which I haven't had many to know if it's supposed to be that way or not. I guess I just don't normally have lukewarm mango drinks. But overall, it was a great Indian restaurant in the northeast and would come again."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Woondal Restaurent! The ambiance of the restaurant is charming and cozy, making it the perfect place for a relaxed meal. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, all of which looked tempting. We ordered Chicken lollipop, Butter Nann, Chicken Korai, Hyderabad Biriyani and Grilled snapper, it exceeded all our expectations. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-notch. What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. They checked in on us regularly without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, this place provided an outstanding dining experience. The combination of delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and top-notch service makes it a place I will definitely return to and highly recommend to others!☺️"
