"Teachers are very awesome they want to encourage us to learn and be successful in life. I have no doubt that this school can be a Georgia Family-Friendly school if they was to enter. Yes the teachers are strict and rules are enforced for students to follow. They do it because they want us to learn and to keep us safe. I have been here 3 years now and i could not have chosen a better place to go to school. Our teachers here are very caring and get the job done you may walk in not know anything but you surely will walk out with the best grades and higher then ever before. So those who blame JMMS for those rules most of them aren't JMMS rules they are Glynn County School System rules we are probably just the only Middle School that follows them. We SOAR here at Jane Macon Because It Just Makes More Sense (JMMS)"
"I like this school because is it fun and the people are nice the teachers may get on your nerves but sometimes they are just tired. I am in 7th grade and it is a lot of fun."
"I heard a lot of people in my school say "that place stinks" , but they forgot why they came here. It's not about games or fun it's about learning and taking your way to the next level. I as a student feel ashamed of so many people who play all the time Sincerely -a 5th grader"
"Teachers are very strict, not like im a bad kid way just they believe the student next to you more then you. Athletics stink for 6th graders, they have no chance to ever have a sporty activity. Then the programs and papers, work is outdated and they have very little fun computer programs that help you learn. more like read this and answer, or whats 60856/2.In the age we are in school should be more fun and interesting. It seems at this place that being bad and being laughed at makes you popular and looking tough is cool. In reality its not cool to hit, kick, punch, or trip someone. I don't like the learning environment kids curse and bully others. And most teachers don't understand us, like today we went to class and a teacher asked a student why she was breaking the rules and picking up items she dropped. The teachers say that they will give tracking forms to students for dumb reasons like picking up a pencil. Then there is students lying, many kids in my class have gotten in truble. for say something to one another then one goes and tell a admin and they then dont believe the person that is right, or the opposite happens and i wish they would let students that saw the thing could put in input to a problem. So do I think this is a good place to send a child, really i do not know you will have to find out on your own. Sincerely a 6th Grade student"
