The Ware County Courthouse houses several key officials and clerks, including the Elected Official, Clerk of Superior and State Court, Superior Court Criminal Clerk, Superior Court Civil Clerk, and State Court Criminal Clerk. Each plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and function of our legal system.

Our Magistrate Court is committed to upholding the mission of Ware County by providing a courteous and impartial forum for all cases. We adhere to the principles of the United States Constitution, the laws of the State of Georgia, and the ordinances of Ware County. Our mission is to deliver justice by ruling on disputed claims, approving mutual settlements in civil cases, and serving as the entry point into the criminal justice system.

The Chief Magistrate, elected for a 4-year term, leads the department and oversees all operations and employees, appointing both full and part-time Magistrates. Our Magistrate Judges follow the Chief's leadership, ensuring consistent and fair adjudication.

The Chief Clerk manages the office, ensuring smooth operations, while Part-Time Magistrate Judges are on call after office hours every other week, conducting Bonds Hearings on Saturdays.
