""BELIEVE EM", Tommie voice. I would always hear the rumors about how ghetto building 1409 was and how unprofessional and careless management was. Me being in a time crunch to find a workspace, I leased here anyway. The hallways on floors 3 and up look abandoned. Dirty walls, trash cans stacked tall with food. The bathrooms are always filthy and out of toiletries. The "suites" walls are very thin. You can hear everyone's tv, music, conversation, and all. The air doesn't work in the summertime. BYOF (bring your own fan). The doors automatically lock before and after certain hours, so don't be in need of another keycard (they randomly stop working), because management will take 4 weeks to replace it. Matter fact... don't be in need of anything because management doesn't handle anything once that lease is signed, and that deposit & first month's rent is paid. Also, be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs occasionally because that 1 elevator from the early 70's... that the whole building share, will stop working at any moment. Lastly, some tenants bring their kids to work... so if you run a real legitimate and professional business, please be advised that you will see and hear kids running the halls all throughout the day. Some may even knock on your door to ask if you'd seen another kid because they're playing a game of hide and seek."
"U know… i heard LOTS about Ms Alicia prior to even moving in. Perhaps I should’ve listened but property was pretty affordable so I took a chance. Since day 1 there has been a lack of communication and urgency. Not reliable or available, ever! Since day 1 my electrical sockets haven’t worked as well as internet she states is included in our monthly charge that I’ve never been able to use. Her company has triple charged my acct and also NOT charged my account on different occasions & will try to charge a late fee when theres a “portal glitch” … No cleaning teams on site - so no toilet paper/paper towels or soap in bathrooms. Lobby smells like pee & so do the restrooms. Icing on the cake? NOT HAVING AIR for days at a time in 96 degree weather and her & her team working from home during all of this & not reimbursing her tenants who don’t have the luxury of working from home when the heat doesn’t work. When I have to cancel my clients due to the heat I simply do not get paid. Anybody who’s educated in lashes knows, humidity is a key factor in lash retention and can be our worst nightmare. Would be nice to have a landlord that actually fixed the HVAC issues we have with our air rather than saying somebody is coming out… maybe they will maybe they won’t… and do a “quick fix” And a day or two later is down again. Obviously something with the zoning is off!!!! I will include pictures tomorrow of the temperature box the past 4 days in addition to summers before and the sanitation/ Cleanliness throughout the building. BUYER/RENTER BEWARE. PAY MORE FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND!!!! Clients will leave u bad reviews hurting your business cause its so hot! So now I am doing the same!"
