"Have had several funerals through Banks and Beals. They have always treated my family and I with the utmost respect. They have amazing dedication to ensuring final moments with loved ones are peaceful and beautiful."
"We traveled two hours to attend a wake here. We brought a gift of wind chimes with us that several people in attendance had helped pay for. Upon arriving, there was no funeral director to be found. (I have never been to a wake where there was not a funeral director to greet and assist guests at the door.). We had to call the office to get someone to assist us. An older man came out and said we interrupted his dinner. I handed off the wind chimes to the older man and asked if he could hang them for us. He (rudely) told me that he couldn’t get to the front of the room to do so. (It was not that busy as I had already made my way to the front of the room looking for someone who worked there.) An hour later, I noticed the wind chime discarded on a chair still in their box. Once again, I approached the man and asked for them to be hung. He said he “would need to go look for a stand,” I said “I would appreciate that.“ He got even more rude with me and asked me if “I wanted to hang them myself?!?” I said I would be happy to if he provided me a stand. He then said, “look, they will get hung up at some point” and turned his back to me. I have never been to a more poorly-run funeral home that lacked in compassion. I was appalled at how this employee conducted himself."
