"I have a suspended license for a ticket in this county, they're supposed to send a compliance order within 20 business days,I called bc it still hasn't happened and was told the have until oct, 4th to send it,I don't know why they would wait until the last day they had to do it,but guess what? It still isn't done!!! My lively hood depends on this and they're too lazy to do they're jobs."
"I made a phone call 2 weeks to check on my daughter's child support check, as I had not received it. Was told to call back in 2 weeks if I had still not received. No problem. I did just that today. Was transferred to Stephanie in the court clerk's office. She told me there was nothing she could do. I asked for a solution to get my daughter her check. Stephanie snapped very hateful and stated "I don't get paid enough to explain this to you. Do you want to pay for a stop payment on the check for a new one?" I told her no, that wasn't my job to have to pay that. "I'm not paying it neither" was her response as if it was coming out of her paycheck personally. I will be finding out who her boss is. That was unacceptable to be spoken to by her."
"Honestly was presently surprised of everyone at this courthouse after reading the negative reviews about this place..I had my trial it went well. The judge was fair listened to both sides and found me not guilty!! Molly is very helpful who works at the office even the prosecutor was nice. Everyone in the courthouse that day was friendly and helpful. I won my case so it was worth appearing in court for. My hope is that some of the police they've hired are little nicer and more professional when doing their job and pulling people over."
"It's really sad to see that a county is so poor (greedy) that it has to setup fake construction zones and speed traps to maintain their operating budget. If you receive a ticket for speeding in a construction zone in Pulaski County, IL you will likely have to pay $812 to have your ticket reduced to a parking ticket, and you will have to pay at least half of your ticket by your 2nd Court appearance to be granted an extension. According to the county clerk your fine will go to collections if an extension is not granted. The county clerk said that would issue a warrant. Also, don't bother with the local lawyers unless you cannot make your court appearances. They will offer the same $812 settlement to your lawyer."
"One dirty little town & County. Major Speed Trap in a fake construction zone on Interstate #57. 302 people in court today for the same construction zone violations. Average cost was $900 fine. A real racket going for a very economically depressed city & county. The most corrupt situation I have ever personally witnessed. Extremely rude people in the courthouse starting with the so called cop in the parking lot. My advice. Stay away from this corrupt little village & so called county."
