"Very nice new hotel, clean and comfortable! My wife and I were in the area to visit her cousin. Room was so spacious we were able to visit comfortably with her. in our. The casino was an added bonus with free play and a $15 food credit for a veteran. We were most impressed with a young lady that was working the early evening shift at the hotel on July 11th, 2024. She went above and beyond greeting us when returning from the casino and making sure all was well with our stay. We will definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel sparkles in so many ways! Every room's incomparable view of the Mighty Mississippi River dazzles the mind, and mesmerizes imagination. The front desk seems so friendly & welcoming. The smoothest elevators on Earth surprise every passenger on subtle arrival when the doors open at their chosen floor. Furnishings in the room feel better than anywhere. Sound proofing maintains perfect quiet once the room door closes. The spotless glassed shower, with grooming toiletries, feel and smell crisply clean. The best hotel experience money can ever reserve."

"The location of the hotel is so convenient for downtown shopping, and restaurants. The view from the room overlooking the river was beautiful!! When we checked in the attendant was accommodating, however didn’t smile and was not overly welcoming. When we checked out it was a different story. Both attendants greeted as with smiles and thanked us for our stay. The room was spacious with the bed and pillows very comfortable! I personally like a little more color when decorating but that being said it was tastefully done in neutrals. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Riverview!"

The highlight for me was the breathtaking view of the Mississippi River from my room - it was truly spectacular. The casino had a fantastic selection of games to choose from, ensuring there was never a dull moment during my stay. "An amazing weekend with an incredible view and an even better staff. We worked our way from South Florida to see the eclipse with intentions of sleeping in parking lots and rest areas. We were fortunate enough to stumble across this gem and by some grace, there was a room available. The hotel is brand new and it is fantastic. They had a viewing party and really set out to make everyone comfortable and safe. Impressive as the eclipse was, the best thing to happen was meeting JOSEPH!! I put that in caps because I was literally yelling it every time I stepped into the lobby, and each time I got a giant smile in return. From the moment we stepped into the hotel; no reservation, no nothing, he was willing and able to do whatever was necessary to make sure all our needs were met. His knowledge of the area paired with his radiance brought our experience to another level. Thank you JOSEPH, you made a quick stay, feel like crashing with an old friend, and Cape Girardeau will forever be on our radar."
