Welcome to the Cape Girardeau Transfer Station, your local solution for responsible waste disposal. Conveniently located at 2055 Corporate Circle, Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63703, our facility is operated by the City of Cape Girardeau and has been serving the community since June 13, 2016. We are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and are closed on weekends and City holidays.

Our transfer station is designed to accommodate the disposal of appliances, bulky items, and extra trash. We offer flexible payment options, accepting cash, checks, and credit/debit cards for your convenience. Please ensure that all loads are secured in compliance with Missouri Revised Statutes 307.010 and City Ordinance Sec.26-220. Trailers without sides must be completely covered by tarps, trucks must have their tailgates up, and no items should be protruding from the vehicle. Failure to secure your load will result in a $25 unsecured load fee in addition to the standard disposal rates.

Please note that we do not accept tires, batteries, motor oil, concrete, railroad ties, automobile parts, pesticides, oil-based paint, or any other hazardous materials.
