St. Clair County 9-1-1 ETSB

"I had an unfortunate incident occur to me on May 22, 2022 on the highway 40/64 bridge going into St. Louis MO. I was pulling a small trailer with my 94 Ford pickup. The trailer bounced off the trailer ball and the tongue of the trailer hit and drug on the concrete. I was able to get over on the shoulder of the bridge, boy was it tight. I called 911 and since I’m from MO it connected me to the city of St. Louis 911. After I explained to the operator where I was the operator contacted 911 in St Clair, IL. I quickly talked with that 911 operator before my phone went dead. I was so scared, my phone went dead, I was afraid I was gonna get mashed. I could see him coming in a black and green truck, lights flashing.I carefully got out of truck to explain what happened. He said not to worry just get back in your truck and I’ll take care of this. He went back to his truck and returned with a floor jack and proceeded to raise the trailer. Very soon another truck arrived and blocked a lane of traffic. Together the two of them got the trailer back on the truck. The first gentleman asked me to come look at trailer tongue and told me what they had done asked where I was going and to be careful. I offered to pay for their services and they both smiled and laughingly said they No Longer take first born. The first truck was number 76 but I didn’t see second trucks number. These gentlemen saved my trailer ,truck and me. Thank you so much St Clair IL 911. I’ll be forever grateful."
