"Only 1 polite staff member in the building which was our server at dinner, even though he was extremely stressed because while everyone else was standing around doing nothing he was thinking around like crazy. Sure out food took awhile and some drink orders were missed but he did the best he could for the situation he was in. Now when it comes to the arcade prepare to be disappointed as half the games are out of service or do not work. Literally every other game possibly more than half did not work. Go-karts waste of time the "power ups" do nothing and they don't even tell you about them anyways and we spent more time stopped than we did moving. Laser tag... 2 of the 4 in my group weren't able to play most of the round because one had the entire pack randomly shut off and the other the gun wouldn't fire because even with both hands on the gun it just kept repeating "put both hands on blaster" so he was unable to fire. Spoke to employees when all this happened and every one of them was rude. Spoke to manager and she made it clear she did not care. Spent $200 and it would have been more entertaining to just throw the money out of the car window. 100% would not recommend to anyone to visit this establishment unless you enjoy spending quite a bit of money to be disappointed and have to deal with rude staff."
"It's nice way to waste an evening if you've got nothing to do and you have money to spend. We were sat down and the waitress never appeared. 25 minutes had past until we notified the hostess and It wasn't until Sanaya, the hostess, personally made sure we were tended to. She was great. If it wasn't for her we would've walked out but if you aren't pressed for time then it's a nice place to eat and play."
"My wife and I had our first date here many years ago, but it has gone downhill since. Half of the arcade games were broken when we visited today, and staff would not refund the money we put onto a game card. If you are looking for an arcade, go elsewhere."
"The new Lazertag upgrades are awesome and the young staff running the arcade side of things are doing an excellent job! I have a ten year old son and we have been 3 times since September. If you visit and skip the lazertag you are really missing out! It’s affordable and really what the Edge does better than any other place I have ever been! #lazertag"
"The Edge offers several types of entertainment, making it Belleville's one-stop-shop for going out. They offer movies (traditional theater or in a bistro with seat-side service), a sports bar and restaurant, a full arcade, laser tag, bowling, bumper cars, and a race track. The business (used to be called Vespers) has been a Belleville staple for decades. I hope to see management kick it up a notch so it can continue to provide Belleville with so much entertainment. Since the pandemic, service has been sub-par in the restaurant. The laser tag arena boasts the most square footage in the country. They've recently made some modifications in the arena. It used to feel like a semi-natural setting, but they've modified the entrance and some upper-level areas making it appear more spaceship-like. It's cool and more modern, but offers less coverage. I've really enjoyed the arcade over my last few visits. They offer several traditional games like skee-ball, pinball, air hockey, racing and shooting games and more as well as some newer pieces that use VR and giant versions of games like Battlestar Galactica and Connect Four. In their recent update, they placed a machine that provides guests with refillable game play cards. You preload the game play card with cash and use it instead of tokens. They recently added a patio. They offer party space for kids' birthdays close to the arcade and more formal events with a banquet-feel upstairs near the bowling alley."
