"I just came home from Quantum Vision Center. I have been trying to get the correct prescription for months now. First, one optician sent in my prescription without my new frames. Brilliant. Then my lenses came back and didn't fit the frames. So back to the lab. After about a month, the glasses finally came back, but I still couldn't see correctly. I was given an appointment with one of their optometrists who suggested i get a prism put in my lenses. It took another while to the glasses back and I couldn't see at all. I was sent to another optometrist who gave me a different prescription but the frames didn't fit my small face. So I asked to have the new lenses put into my old frames. After weeks of not having glasses to wear and a lot of eye strain, I was told they were in. But the lenses are anti glare, which I specifically told 2 different incompetent opticians that I didn't want them. So today I complained and was told my request was not recorded in any notes! How convenient! Plus, they told me that this has all been going on for 2 years. That was a blatant lie because I had seen the ophthalmologist in April. I raised my voice out of frustration and because of that I was thrown out of the office. I just called a malpractice attorney and left a messag relaying what kind of experience I had to deal with. I loved my doctor but I have to leave Quantum. Beware...Plus, I see that Quantum is not accredited on BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Hmm. I wonder why... Now, as of yesterday, the two office managers won't even allow me to talk to my own doctor. They said they will send him a message. Sure. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my 74 years on this earth. They think they have power over me, but they're in for a big surprise. I have a legal background and they have chosen the wrong person to pick on. Right now I am going through immense complicated grief over the recent loss of my husband, which they know, but still continue to stress me out. They need to be fired. And they need compassion. A lot of compassion. Jess had no empathy towards me when I poured out my heart to her. I would never do that to someone. Never, never, never. And I'm sure she and Robin are very proud of themselves for treating me this way. May God bless them and forgive them because "they know not what they do.""

"Hold on. They overbook every time. If you show up a few minutes late, they make you reschedule. I took the day off to come in, only to find my appointment was with a doctor who didn’t accept my insurance. When I finally did get in to see the doctor, he gave me a wrong diagnosis and then called me back into the room as I was leaving to tell me he messed up."

"Ordered glasses from the office in Swansea. My prescription had changed after being diagnosed w/diabetes. Should've listened to my gut & left, but I stayed. Customer service wasn't their strong suit. Got my glasses ordered. Received. Unfortunately my vision changed not long after I got my glasses. They do replace lenses for free if it's within a certain time frame. This time, I wasn't so lucky to get my glasses back. Took several weeks. They gave me the run-around, eventually they said the glasses were lost. Meanwhile, I couldn't see, my driver's liscense expired because I couldn't do a vision test due to not having glasses. (Couldn't drive anyway without glasses) They offered to replace glasses, but the l frames I wanted were no longer available. The trust is gone, I don't want to deal with them anymore. I don't trust that I'll get glasses. I asked for my money back. They said I'd receive a check within 4-6 weeks. Tomorow (Friday 7/12) will make 9 weeks & I stoll haven't received money back. (Over $300) Dealing with them throughout this process has been a headache. Went to elsewhere to get glasses. More professional, better customer service, and received my glasses within a week. (Instead of waiting over a month to be told they lost my glasses)"

"We knew it was bad, but didn’t know how bad until we switched to another local retinal specialist who also treats wet macular degeneration. At Quantum, we waited anywhere from 2-4 hours to get through the process. Multiple elderly folks all stuffed into overcrowded waiting rooms, coughing and hacking with no ventilation. The back staff were well aware of poor upper management and miserable conditions and had to take the brunt of unhappy patients’ frustration. They did their best, but this is CLEARLY an upper management issue. Do better, Quantum. Your docs might be great, but not worth this kind of ridiculous process and wait. The doc Mom sees now is with another retinal group, extraordinary credentials and Mom is in and out within 20-45 minutes every time, start to finish. And they even have and take the time to explain things to her. Folks, don’t put up with Quantum’s poor practice model. It doesn’t have to be that way."

"My wife had an appointment at 3:25 pm and they didn’t even take her back until 5pm and they close at 4:30. Why do doctors always over book appointments and why are they late. If I showed up late they would have canceled."
